We have inner demons that work unknowingly and keep us from being happy and successful,
and the first way to deal with them is to notice them.
In this video, you will have 15 questions that can give you an idea to notice them.
In addition, in the video, I will have instructions on what we can do to deal with these inner demons
If you're ready, let's get started.
[Music]
I'll read you some articles later.
Please listen carefully to each of these items and rate how
much the thoughts in this item reflect you, according to the score sheet you will see on the screen.
Please note down your response to each item.
Just be careful while doing this.
Let the answers we give reflect what is, not what should be.
In other words, we do not expect you to give the ideal answer.
Tick what you really think right now.
The first point is that I find people who reject and judge me attractive, and I usually
fall in love with such people.
I want you to think about the people you
are attracted to, find attractive or fall in love with, both in the past and now . Were
these people the kind of people who would generally reject you, make you feel worthless
? Please think accordingly and rate.
Our second point is that deep down people don't like me if they really know me.
I am not a person worthy of rejoicing, I have faith.
Do you often feel the need to hide most of your features in your relationships with people
? Does it feel like no one will accept or value you if you act as if you are the real you
Our third item, my inner voice, often criticizes me mercilessly, my inner speech
is in the direction of hurting myself.
Consider making any mistakes.
When you talk to yourself after this mistake, are those conversations often
cruelly judgmental?
Do you knock yourself down?
Even if our fourth item is all going well, I feel it will break down.
In fact, even if your life does not have serious negativities, you still
feel that somehow it will deteriorate and everything will not go well.
You cannot stop these negative thoughts.
Even if something good happens, you think that something bad will
follow. Our fifth item is no matter how hard I work.
I worry that I will go bankrupt financially and lose everything.
Even if you earn enough, you always seem to have a concern.
Deep down, one day you will be broke. There is a feeling in you that you
will be a homeless person in need of other people on the streets,
and you always take your steps with the anxiety that this creates.
Our sixth item is I have a lot of health concerns.
I worry more than most
other people that I will develop a terminal or incurable disease in the future .
Have a headache, am I having a brain hemorrhage?
Or if you feel sluggish if your stomach hurts, I wonder if I have cancer?
You cannot stop such thoughts.
Our seventh point is that living a good life has little to do with work or effort
. It's more a matter of fate, destiny, luck.
How does this sentence reflect your thoughts?
Rate it. Our eighth article, people who are seen as successful, who are in high positions, and
who are shown as an example, are usually there with torpedo, whether
it is a private or state institution, it is not a job to achieve something, to work hard
.
It mostly depends on more extrinsic factors like knowing someone, being close to someone or having a privilege in some way
or having a good family education, being lucky
. Our ninth item is when I listen to the life stories of successful people
, the chances they have in their lives draw my attention rather than their efforts.
For example, in which country was he born, in which family he was born?
What kind of education did he receive?
I mean, in my opinion, such inspiring life stories are stories.
If he's been able to do something inspiring, there's bound to be a luck factor.
Either he is not in Turkey, but in another country.
He was born into a very good family.
His parents are good, have a good education or come across good people.
Our tenth item is not enough no matter how successful I am.
I do not feel satisfied.
Even if I am successful, I am not satisfied.
I can't enjoy this.
My mind is always on the next target.
It's the next thing to do.
Other people say I'm successful, but it doesn't seem so to me.
I think it's a normal, ordinary performance.
Our eleventh item is I always
feel like I have to be the best at school, at work, in my relationships.
I try very hard to be the best.
A mediocre average achievement is unacceptable to me.
I'm a perfectionist and get nervous when things aren't right.
12. I don't like going on vacation or being idle.
Even if I go on vacation, I don't eat custard, I can't relax.
My mind is always on what I need to do.
There is so much work that I have to do that I don't have enough time.
13. I think of other people more than myself.
If I prioritize myself, I feel guilty.
It seems selfish to me to prioritize myself.
Their needs take precedence over mine.
I am a very devoted and extremely self-sacrificing person.
My fourteenth item is I can
not feel that the important decisions in my life are my own. How do the decisions I make affect other people?
This is important to me.
In fact, how it often affects other people is more
important than how it affects me. I do everything I can to avoid conflict and have
a hard time saying no to people.
Sir, let's evaluate the results.
Now, before moving on to the results, let me state that this test is for awareness
raising and giving ideas.
Although there are items in some scales that have been proven scientifically,
of course, we cannot say that this is 100% certain based on the results of the test.
However, the results can create various awareness in us and
give some ideas about ourselves.
That's why it's valuable anyway.
Let's start with the assessment of our first three questions.
Sir, if you rated the first three questions with a score of 4 or more on the first, second and third questions,
we can say that
one of your inner demons is a belief in imperfection or worthlessness .
This inner demon makes us feel worthless, flawed, incomplete inside.
The dominant feeling is shame and worthlessness.
So when we have this inner demon, we often have feelings of shame, guilt, lack,
worthlessness. The person is ashamed of himself and
spends a lot of effort so
that other people do not see his own flaws in quotes .
Usually internal conversations by people with this inner demon.
