0:35 going to be safe is it going to be able
0:38 to enter this port and all of that data
0:40 flows through our
0:42 product there's at any point in time a
0:45 million seafarers out on the
0:48 oceans it's really about connecting
0:50 everybody that's part of the [Music]

1:03 somebody asked me a long time ago what
1:05 is it that I want to do in the industry
1:07 and I blurred it out I want to
1:09 revolutionize the shipping industry I I
1:11 didn't even know where it came from back
1:13 in the beginning the industry was at its
1:16 infancy in terms of Technology we had
1:19 rooms dedicated to files seeing the
1:20 amount of reporting that was done and
1:22 the amount of FedEx envelopes that were
1:24 shipped all over the world it was very
1:25 obvious to me that there had to be a better
1:32 way the Globe has become connected in a
1:34 way that we've never seen before
1:37 shipping is the invisible industry you
1:38 don't realize it but every time you go
1:41 shopping every product you buy it's all
1:43 happening because of shipping ships are
1:46 traveling all over the world and our
1:47 systems make it easier for them to
1:49 manage all of that information manage
1:52 all that documentation our job at q88 is
1:55 to make our customers lives easier we're
1:58 historically in an industry that hasn't
2:00 been that techsavvy so so to introduce
2:02 technology it's got to be done in the
2:04 right way we've really focused on what
2:07 is it the customer wants what is it they
2:10 need and really understanding what it is
2:12 that they need to do their [Music]

2:18 business we knew that to marry it and
2:22 shipping we needed experience of both so
2:24 when we look to hire people uh we're
2:26 focused on people that understand
2:29 technology and understand Maritime and
2:31 having that Maritime knowledge we can
2:34 speak to them in their language uh and I
2:36 think that makes a big difference every
2:38 ship has several dozen companies that
2:40 are involved in it in one way or another
2:42 and all these companies they need
2:43 information about The
2:47 Vessel the way we've set up q88 is that
2:48 that information can be shared and
2:51 shared very easily so it doesn't matter
2:52 what part of the industry you're you're
2:54 in you can get access to that
2:57 information they can better understand
2:58 their ships they can better understand
3:01 the safety and ensuring that just ships
3:02 are operating properly within the ports
3:04 that they they travel to and they can
3:07 plan going forward how they're going to
3:08 operate their vessels what are the
3:10 concerns they have with their ships so
3:13 that each customer can learn how they
3:15 are in relation to the rest of the [Music]
3:21 industry our customers have a vast
3:23 amount of data that is stored on our
3:27 systems and that data has has real value
3:29 we have to make sure that we have the
3:31 support became available 24/7 around the
3:33 globe we have to make sure our servers are
3:34 are
3:37 protected cyber security is is at the
3:40 top priority at at q88 because our
3:43 customers rely on our
3:45 product so when we're looking at our
3:47 product the focus is very much on the
3:50 customer they're the ones that we we
3:53 cater to they're the reason we exist um
3:55 and so as we continue to develop our
3:58 product uh that input is is critical for us
4:00 us
4:02 I think this industry is is one that's
4:05 going to exist forever it's part of the
4:06 interconnected network of of Life on this
4:07 this
4:10 planet I feel very lucky and privileged
4:12 to be part of it and we will continue to
4:15 innovate and and bring products and
4:16 solutions to Market that that meet our customers
