4:20 thank k for them we come to learn that
4:22 the file he's currently completing Cold
4:24 Harbor is of the utmost importance to
4:27 the company and the world apparently so
4:29 Lumen wants Mark happy once the core for
4:31 is reunited they share their stories
4:33 from the outside with one another but
4:36 with a notable exception hel withholds
4:38 that she's an Egan instead telling a
4:45 gardener
4:48 yeah a night
4:50 Garder I think so maybe he has a
4:53 different job during the
4:55 day surely this does not have dubious
4:58 implications on the outside Mark decides
5:00 he's willing to go to any land necessary
5:02 to bring Jemma back he reunites with

5:07 stalks him and agrees to let her
5:10 reintegrate him which would fuse his in

6:26 actually Helena which is all kinds of
6:29 yucky don't worry real heli and Mark
6:31 have their own vessel sharing experience
6:33 in what is likely the most talked about
6:36 episode of the Season chai Bardo we see
6:38 both Gemma and Mark's backstory as well
6:40 as witness Gemma living on the testing
6:43 floor of lumen could I please get a
6:47 break just for a little while but it's
6:53 weeks I was just here the testing floor
6:55 exists beneath the severed floor where
6:57 we see Gemma enter an array of rooms
6:59 that are labeled with the names of
7:01 Mark's previous MDR files see what's
7:03 happening don't worry that's what we're
7:06 here for each time Gemma enters a room a
7:09 different severed self is activated what
7:18 hurt all
7:20 Town she's forced to complete mundane
7:23 tasks or endure painful experiences
7:25 without her Audi Gemma having any
7:27 recollection of what took place behind
7:29 the door we learned that Cold Harbor is
7:31 the final room she has yet to experience Cold

7:36 Harbor so what
7:39 happens once I've been in all the rooms
7:41 yada yada yada Dylan's wife cheats on
7:44 him with his innie Bert and Irving meet
7:46 as Audi but can't be together former
7:48 floor manager Miss goell invented
7:50 Severance all right we should probably
7:52 back up a little

8:11 one in the penultimate episode coobel
8:13 unites with Mark to help him rescue

8:19 finally come to a head she explains to
8:21 him that once the Cold Harbor file is
8:25 complete Gemma will be dead she's alive [Music]
8:35 the finale now that we've addressed the
8:37 broad or should we say macro Strokes of
8:39 the story let's finally get into the
8:41 season finale shall we the episode picks
8:44 up right where the previous had left off
8:46 we see any Mark in the birthing cabin
8:48 with his sister Devon and coobel the
8:50 cabin has the ability to activate Mark
8:52 Severance chip as affluent Lumen
8:54 adjacent women utilize the procedure to
8:56 avoid experiencing the Pains of child
9:00 birth yeah crazy in an EP scene Mark has
9:02 a conversation with himself through a
9:05 camcorder but his Audi is unsuccessful
9:06 at convincing his innie that he's
9:08 trustworthy enough to assist him in
9:10 rescuing Jemma she's the person I'll
9:14 lose if I do what you say cuz you know
9:22 reintegrate assuming that's even real
9:24 any Mark fears that once he's helped his
9:27 Audi he's as good as dead and he's not
9:29 totally wrong coell steps in to tell has
9:32 any the details of his work in MDR
9:44 wife the MDR numbers as many had
9:47 inferred the numbers that Mark refines
9:50 are actually gemma's tempers or emotions
9:52 and each file completed equals one new
9:55 in for Gemma again this tracks with what
9:57 we've learned thus far but now Mark must
9:58 decide if he can believe this
10:01 information or not as he returns to work
10:04 reintegration is your only chance do you

10:08 Mark yes well then you tell him that the
10:10 next thing I see it better be the
10:13 severed floor or I swear he will never
10:15 see his wife again back at the office
10:17 heli has a bizarre encounter with her
10:19 father Jame who essentially tells her he
10:22 loves her more than he loves Helena I do
10:32 I used to see care in
10:38 her but he left her as she grew um okay
10:40 we don't fully see the repercussions of
10:42 this conversation so we can only assume
10:44 season 3 will further explore this
10:47 Dynamic Mark comes back to Lumen still
10:48 unsure of how to approach the end of
10:50 Cold Harbor just a quick moment of
10:52 appreciation for the exalted victory of
10:54 Cold Harbor painting we want that hung
10:57 up in our office wait never mind taking
11:00 that back immediately Mark and heli
11:02 exchange information and in a
11:04 heartbreaking moment heli convinces Mark
11:06 to sacrifice their budding relationship
11:09 to save Gemma and support his Audi at
11:26 you he tearfully finishes Cold Harbor
11:28 and is rewarded with a massive marching
11:39 we're so sorry we know we're supposed to
11:41 explain the finale but we need to just
11:43 watch milch body roll for a second maybe
11:58 now hel manages to trap milch in the
12:00 bathroom with the help of Dylan Dylan
12:02 returns to MDR though having requested
12:04 to resign in the episode prior after
12:06 having been rejected by his own wife
12:09 ouch his Audi writes him a sweet letter
12:11 expressing that he wants to be more like
12:13 the man his in self has become and gives
12:15 villain the choice to stay or go
12:18 bolstering his confidence I hope someday
12:20 she sees in
12:23 me what she sees in you in the midst of
12:25 the diversion Mark uses Irving's map to
12:27 locate the testing floor elevator but
12:30 just behind an opposing door Lumen grunt
12:32 Mr Drummond is about to force Lauren
12:34 from Aman's nurtural to sacrifice one of
12:38 her goats ail this
12:42 Beast will be in tuned with a cherished
12:46 woman whose Spirit it must guide to K's
12:53 task it is we had been introduced to the
12:55 goats in season 1 and they still remain
12:58 a bit of a mystery but during this scene
12:59 we learn that there's a connection
13:01 between the testing floor and the
13:03 purpose of the goats Drummond implies
13:05 that a chip will be implanted into a
13:07 meal which we can infer is gemas and
13:09 that he will somehow retain her
13:20 get as many as the Fonda calls however
13:21 this is interrupted by Mark's attempt to
13:24 break into the testing floor elevator
13:25 and in an unexpected fight scene
13:27 Drummond beats the Daylights out of him okay
13:38 Lauren emerges whales on him and
13:40 threatens to shoot Drummond Mark instead
13:43 convinces her to let him use Drummond to
13:45 guide him to Gemma and Lauren obliges
13:47 and thanks him for saving Emil Emil
13:50 thanks you oh we needed that we would
13:52 have killed for that sweet little guy
13:55 too Mark makes his way down but arrives
13:57 as his Audi and accidentally shoots
13:59 Drummond in the process he find finds
14:01 his way to Gemma in the Cold Harbor room
14:03 who is being tasked with disassembling
14:05 the crib we see Mark attempt to build in
14:07 shikai Bardo you may be wondering what
14:09 is being tested here and why is this the
14:12 final room based on everything we've
14:14 seen Cold Harbor is the true test of the
14:17 entire multi- sance process the crib
14:19 represents her most painful experience
14:21 of losing her child and I'll be seeing
14:23 you is a musical Motif that signifies
14:40 [Music]
14:42 not to mention her outfit is identical
14:43 to that of what she was wearing the
14:45 night she was kidnapped by Lumen if
14:47 these vestages don't trigger Gemma what
14:56 me Mark recovers Gemma much to the
14:59 dismay of Jame and the creepo Dr Mau
15:02 don't speak to that man he's here to hurt
15:03 hurt
15:06 you and if you come with me right
15:10 now we can get it back
15:12 back
15:15 no in four scenes of quick succession we
15:17 see Mark and Gemma in all different
15:19 dynamics of their inie and outy selves
15:22 at first Mark recognizes Gemma but she
15:24 has no idea who he is and trusts him
15:27 nonetheless then after two seasons of
15:29 waiting we witness Mark and Gemma as
15:31 their Audi selves reuniting once and for
15:40 [Music]
15:42 run oh come [Music]
15:45 [Music]
15:48 on once they make it up the elevator
15:51 they're both Ines again which is sad but
15:53 objectively kind of hilarious and also
15:55 we missed Miss Casey desperately what's
16:03 um in the final moments of the episode
16:05 inie Mark sends Gemma out to the hallway
16:07 turning her into her Audi self but right
16:10 before he escapes with her hel calls out
16:13 for him while Gemma pleads Mark come on
16:22 door Mark he must make the impossible
16:23 choice between the life he's lived and
16:26 the life he may never get to have but
16:29 alas he chooses heli and the two run off
16:31 together into the hallway like the
16:34 circles that you
16:39 find in the wind Mills of your
16:42 mind where they go we suppose only time
16:45 will tell sadly love may not transcend
16:47 Severance after all before we continue

17:42 underdog enies to salvage their
17:44 existences Against All Odds see you at the
17:49 equator see at the
