today we're taking a look at Gibson's
iconic j45 acoustic guitar this classic
guitar has been around since 1942 and
has been its best-selling acoustic
guitar and according to history is the
most recorded acoustic guitar in rock
and roll
so we got a lot to talk about let's get
right into it [Music]
the j45 is nicknamed the Workhorse and
for good reason
this guitar was introduced in 1942 as a
substitution for the Lesser expensive
j-35 and this one came in with a
slightly different design and Sunburst
finish which initially was designed to
cover up the blemishes at the seams
personally I've used them on stage in
the studio and not only do they look
great they sound absolutely amazing with
a great mid

there's no mistaking the j45's slope
shoulder look beautiful Sunburst and
book Matched sick of spruce top we have
mahogany back and sides which are
painted black so you can't really see
you can't see much of the wood green
this guitar is very light it has a rear
