1:20 gonna like shoot up to page one but that
1:21 you're diversifying your backlink
1:24 profile it makes sense for a new
1:27 business to want to get their name out
1:29 there and maybe it's not the most
1:31 press-worthy like people are going to
1:34 digest it's going to go viral kind of
1:37 information however you know let's say
1:39 you got a new website for your business
1:41 that's still something that's press
1:45 worthy in the form of crawlers right so
1:47 to me
1:49 cheap press releases or so still
1:51 something that's viable and and still
1:56 worthwhile and Yahoo plays into that um
1:57 um
2:00 but it's not going to make you number
2:02 one for the majority of serps that
2:05 you're going after and in relationship
2:07 so useful yeah it's still useful because
2:09 it helps diversify your backlink profile
2:12 from just doing naturally you know yeah
2:14 exactly link to your home page for
2:16 anchor text you the Branded anchor URL
2:19 link or whatever yeah and in relation to
2:21 your like the last question that you got there

2:25 um I don't know that you could actually
2:28 reach out to Yahoo themselves and be
2:30 like hey
2:31 um you know got this new I think you
2:33 said the websites the other websites not
2:35 Yahoo but reach out to the websites that
2:38 Yahoo distributes through it's not
2:41 worthwhile it's like I'm just going to
2:43 be honest it's not worthwhile if you if
2:46 you want to take like this like this
2:48 press movement kind of like mentality to
2:53 things then look up a great Harrow um
2:54 um
2:56 press release kind of person where
2:57 they're actually like talking to
2:59 reporters they're getting information
3:02 out there you've gotta like they they're
3:04 digesting a bunch of information
3:06 um it's more legit you need some actual
3:10 like news but even if you're doing Haro
3:11 I would still say that this press
3:14 release is a great option as far as
3:15 pillow linking and if you don't know
3:16 what pillow linking or foundational
3:19 linking is we've got articles on that
3:21 we've got videos on that just type it
3:24 into YouTube or our search bar on our
3:28 website and um you know try and digest
3:30 what that is but
3:33 um I would say you know conjunction
3:37 um all of this together equals a
3:39 narrative that Google is looking for
3:42 that is extremely hard to
3:43 um emulate
3:46 um easily anyway
3:49 so yeah just to recap real quick
3:52 um you know like Nick said we look at
3:53 these things kind of like as pillow
3:55 links they're not gonna like really like
3:56 boost your rankings like a ton they can
3:58 definitely help a little bit yeah
4:00 um but yeah don't don't look at it as
4:02 like a main tool to use right you can
4:03 use them every now and then don't
4:06 overuse them for sure if you start over
4:07 using these things
4:10 um I I just yeah would not overuse them
4:13 cheap press release like once every six
4:16 months max if you're doing like your
4:19 solid backlinking campaign so yeah once
4:21 a year is much safer
4:22 like mentioned before use natural
4:25 anchors you know branded anchors or URL
4:26 anchors link to your home page only
4:29 don't try anything weird don't get
4:31 aggressive with it um
4:32 um
4:34 and then uh yeah for the last question
4:37 uh like Nick said it's not worth just
4:38 reaching out to these websites manually
4:40 because like we said these links aren't
4:41 very powerful on their own so you're
4:43 like wasting a ton of time to basically
4:45 build like a single pillow Link at a
4:47 time and then I think a lot of your a
4:48 lot of the answers from these websites
4:50 that you're going to try to reach out to
4:52 it's going to be a flat no we'll have
4:54 contracts with Yahoo that says you go
4:56 through us they're also to get to do
4:57 this they're also it's the same thing
4:59 with a lot of these like citation
5:02 Services they go through only through uh
5:03 I don't even remember what was that one
5:05 service that you have to like go through
5:08 to get some of the citations
5:11 um I think yext was a big one yeah yeah
5:12 that was the one that I used to mess
5:15 with you have to go through Yaks to get
5:17 this like awesome citation but that's
5:19 the funny thing too is like if you if
5:22 you reached out to
5:25 these websites that
5:28 um took on your press release the fact
5:31 of the matter is there's no [ __ ]
5:33 person there there's nothing there it's
5:37 a bot okay like these press releases are
5:41 set up by a corporation it says Hey here
5:45 it is it's on what's called a wire quote
5:48 a wire and it just automatically
5:51 syndicates to the wire
5:54 and that doesn't mean it's digested that
5:57 doesn't mean it's like put up forward
6:01 on like the front page of that editorial
6:04 it just means like okay
6:07 um you know we took it on yada yada but
6:09 it doesn't matter there's no human
6:11 interaction so all of a sudden if you're
6:14 like reaching out and you're going hey
6:18 I I said I got this new website and um
6:20 um
6:24 you know I'm trying to like get it
6:27 extend it to a like a a better portion
6:29 of the link or something it's not
6:31 worthwhile like you're not gonna get
6:34 anywhere because it's all bot driven
6:35 and that's the way majority of the
6:37 internet works
6:40 so this is I mean it says I don't
6:42 remember if this is the same person or
6:43 asked the original question but here's
6:45 an example of a Yahoo link and he was
6:48 saying I was looking at something like
6:50 this not really a press release so this
6:51 is that kind of different so I guess the
6:53 question has different parts if it's
6:55 asked by the same person uh but this
6:57 kind of looks more like a you know like
7:00 a PR link uh not press release but what
7:03 we'd actually call PR like a PR link
7:05 um yeah which is they're definitely
7:06 they're usually a bit like harder to
7:09 land I don't know how Yahoo Works maybe
7:10 it's easier to get these kind of links
7:12 on Yahoo
7:13 um yeah I'm not really sure if you can
7:15 get it huh
7:19 if you can get it yeah take it that's uh
7:21 that's a good link right like I think
7:23 this would be good to have yeah
7:25 um you know better than you know this I
7:27 feel like this is gonna be better than
7:30 uh like a press release
7:32 um link so yeah don't get confused
7:34 between because some people when they
7:36 say PR they mean press release but then
7:39 there's like PR PR which is usually like
7:41 super high end links on super high
7:43 Authority websites which is what this
7:45 looks more like this looks more like a
7:48 high-end PR link
7:50 um a lot of them they start at the same place
7:51 place um
7:52 um
7:56 you know if you've got solid PR
7:59 and typically like we're talking about
8:02 black cat kind of movement here at least
8:04 it sort of links a lot um
8:05 um
8:08 you got solid PR something that like can
8:11 be digested maybe go viral then there's
8:17 a higher chance of using a even cheap PR um
8:18 um
8:21 to get
8:23 like a lot of movement
8:26 um but it is incredibly rare
8:28 um to the point where
8:31 I think I only know one person
8:34 um that you know used a random PR
8:37 strategy and got like movement and vogue.com
8:39 vogue.com Etc
8:46 I'm just having a little quick look I
8:48 mean of course yeah the links are no
8:49 follow I just wanted to see if they were
8:51 having them marked as like ugc or
8:53 something too um

8:59 but yeah looks like no follow but um
