0:01 Hey guys, Slice here. Ark Knight's
0:03 Enfield is finally out and ready to
0:04 play. To make your experience in the
0:06 game smoother, this video is going to
0:08 cover beginner essential tips for each
0:10 major category of the game and general
0:12 things you want to know so that you're
0:13 not missing anything in your
0:14 progression. I plan to cover complete
0:16 character guides for limited releases
0:17 and fun community summon videos. So, if
0:19 you like what you see, like and
0:20 subscribe for future content. Let's get
0:30 First off, and probably most important
0:33 for all newcomers are where to get your
0:35 135 free polls. Pre-registration rewards
0:37 20 standard. Get that in the mail.
0:38 Playing the main missions of the game
0:40 will slowly get you 40 for the beginner
0:42 banner. This will include all major
0:44 tutorials for in-game features as you
0:45 progress the main missions. So, just
0:46 enjoy it and hopefully you get some
0:49 lucky polls early. Now, let's hit F7.
0:51 This is a familiar event page detailing
0:53 all ongoing events. What we care about
0:55 is New Horizons giveaway. This is a
0:57 one-stop panel for all early game
1:00 rewards. Right here is the main mission
1:01 progression of the game that will slowly
1:03 get you 40 of the beginner banner polls.
1:05 Now, the first thing you'll see is the
1:07 awakening signin. This is a 14-day
1:09 beginner login where you get your free
1:11 Ardellia and our signature weapon in 12
1:13 limited polls. Day three will be
1:15 Ardellia. Day 10 will be her signature
1:17 weapon and the 12 other days give one
1:19 limited pull and various other
1:22 resources. Next up is level rewards. So,
1:24 these will give you a total of 40
1:26 standard poles, 10 weapon poles, a
1:28 selectable six-star weapon, and 4,000
1:30 oral barrels, which is equivalent to
1:31 eight poles. This will take the longest
1:33 since you need level 45 to achieve all
1:36 rewards. This crate here is a six-star
1:37 selectable weapon chest. That being
1:39 said, if you only care about the poles,
1:41 level 30 is where they stop at. And not
1:42 included in the New Horizons are the
1:44 limited polls for each of the upcoming
1:46 banners. They all look like this. And in
1:48 total, you'll get five limited polls for
1:50 each of the upcoming rate of characters.
1:52 Levitane, Yilberta, and Yavon for a
1:54 total of 15. Currently, Raidup is
1:57 Levitane or Certter. So, her five are
1:59 here and take seven days. So, these five
2:02 locations, the pre-register in the mail,
2:04 the main missions, beginner login, level
2:07 up rewards, and raid up character signin
2:09 will net you your 135 polls to get your
2:11 roster started right away. Now, a
2:13 debrief on combat. So, I'll show you
2:16 Leetain trial as an example. There are
2:17 four characters on your team and you
2:19 control one of them at any point in
2:21 time. The other three will still remain
2:23 on field and deal damage. If at any
2:25 point you swap characters, they will
2:26 exchange places. You will still remain
2:28 where you are so the camera doesn't go
2:30 crazy switching POV constantly. This
2:32 game operates on a skill QT and old
2:34 system. See the skills down here on 1 2
2:36 3 4. The ultimate bar is right above
2:38 them and QT will show up on screen here
2:40 with usually like a trigger system. The
2:42 skills do not have a cool down. Instead,
2:44 you will use skill points from this
2:46 resource bar. Each skill has one skill
2:47 point and you have a max of three at any
2:50 time. QTE have cooldowns but do not use
2:51 skill points. Instead, they are
2:53 triggered in combat. Ultimate obviously
2:55 uses energy. Your most important
2:57 resource in combat will be these skill
2:59 points. The game is more about comboing
3:01 a strategy in patience rather than
3:02 spamming abilities off cooldown.
3:04 Remember that you have four operators on
3:07 field at any point in time, but only a
3:09 max of three skill points. So, use your
3:11 skills wisely. Not all characters will
3:12 use their skills for certain teams, but
3:15 you will abuse those QTE as much as
3:16 possible. Different teams will have
3:18 different strategies. Plan accordingly.
3:20 Operators and gearing system. So,
3:23 breathe a side relief for the gear. The
3:25 stats on these pieces are fixed and they
3:27 are also mass- prodducible through
3:29 factory production. The RNG in this game
3:31 revolves around essences on your
3:33 weapons. And this will be part of the
3:35 farming loop later on. But don't worry,
3:37 because the base gearing system, which
3:39 is all these right here, is fixed. Your
3:41 character's default strength without RNG
3:43 is pretty good. This allows you a lower
3:44 stress environment to just enjoy the
3:46 game at your own pace. And do know that
3:47 this is not the recommended gear setup
3:49 for Leotain. It is just a default set
3:51 supplied here. Now, the characters
3:53 themselves are divided into six classes
3:55 that you see on the screen here. There
3:59 are DPS classes, support, defense, and
4:00 utility. The one class that I will
4:03 personally point out is vanguard. These
4:04 guys are able to generate skill points
4:06 for your team and are pretty useful for
4:08 more skill point intensive comps. We
4:10 currently have one vanguard for each of
4:12 the types except for nature. We have P
4:14 for physical.
4:16 >> We have Allesh for cry, Arclan for
4:19 electric, and Aurori for heat.
4:21 >> Let me do something for Enfield.
4:23 >> Notably, Aakuri is a staple utility unit
4:25 for the first limited rate up Levitane.
4:27 Just want to point this out because
4:28 these units could potentially be staple
4:31 inclusions for most team comps. Factory
4:32 building. So those who are familiar with
4:36 games like Factorio, Satisfactory, etc.
4:38 are going to enjoy this aspect in
4:39 Enfield. And those who aren't really
4:41 interested, don't worry. You will be
4:42 able to copy your friends homework with
4:44 the blueprint sharing system, so
4:46 everyone can enjoy what they want to
4:48 enjoy. Base building is split up into
4:50 regions. You'll notice that you're going
4:51 to be connecting your map together to
4:53 automate farming resources, adding zip
4:55 lines for faster travel, and reaching
4:57 areas that have rare materials to
4:59 upgrade your characters. You can go as
5:01 crazy as you want or as simple as you
5:03 want. And there will be memo beacons
5:04 that you'll see that aren't from you,
5:06 but from someone else shared across
5:08 worlds. It's pretty cool, and it's like
5:09 free tips every now and then when you're
5:11 exploring the world. Some regions have
5:13 its own home base that you'll be able to
5:14 unlock, allowing you to start connecting
5:16 things and farm those resources. Areas
5:18 that do not have this kind of mini home
5:20 system, you will have to connect through
5:22 other regions. This may be a little bit
5:25 tedious, but it is part of the grind.
5:26 Now, your actual base building will
5:28 either be a mixture of your own creation
5:30 or just taking advantage of blueprints.
5:32 You can unlock blueprints through the
5:34 simulation, which are really handy
5:35 tutorials and crash courses on what they
5:37 do. What you're seeing on screen might
5:39 be overwhelming, but don't worry about
5:40 it. It's just an example. And once you
5:42 do have things set up and are resource
5:44 gathering, you can run your own little
5:46 stock market, sell your goods, improve
5:47 the prosperity of each region, and
5:49 purchase things from the good shop. If
5:50 you have friends, you can even do some
5:53 real-time stock manipulation for insane
5:54 gains. One final thing related to
5:57 factory building is up here. Don't
5:58 forget progression on your spaceship,
6:01 the OMV Djang. You'll be introduced to
6:02 this naturally by playing the game, and
6:04 it's familiar to the base system in OG
6:06 Ark Knights. You'll be able to generate
6:08 more materials for operator progression
6:10 here. Now, let's revisit those hotkeys
6:12 up top. These may be different key
6:14 bindings for you, so reference the icon.
6:16 F6 is going to be the battle pass. F7 is
6:19 the events. F9 is summoning. Now, let's
6:22 check out F8. This is our operation
6:24 manual, use cases for your stamina,
6:26 which is sanity in this game, and
6:27 general milestones for early game
6:29 progression. This also shows up in
6:31 Horizon's giveaway that we went over
6:33 early on, showing that there are 9k oral
6:34 barrels included in this progression.
6:36 When you've unlocked this in game,
6:38 you've got dailies. It took me about 3
6:40 hours in beta 2, so probably expect
6:42 around that time for official release.
6:44 So, node, this is the beginner guide
6:45 stuff that you guys probably used to. We
6:48 have the daily tab, of course. Index is
6:50 for stamina usage. Includes character
6:53 progression, weapons, bosses, advanced
6:55 materials, and weapon essences. These
6:57 are the things that are the RNG farming.
7:00 Training is basic in-game guide stuff.
7:02 Simulation is for the blueprints in
7:04 factory building. And permanent will be
7:06 endgame content. All right. Now, let's
7:08 take a step back and go to the battle
7:10 pass with F6. So, there's one really
7:11 important thing I want you guys to know.
7:13 It looks like here that there's three
7:15 tiers of battle pass, right? Well,
7:16 wrong. There's actually only two. You
7:19 will always have the originium supply
7:21 tier unlocked. Let me show you why. So,
7:24 you see this here? It costs 29 or
7:26 geometries, which is the paid currency,
7:28 but it rewards you with 32. There's no
7:31 catch. The devs designed this battle
7:33 pass tier to be 110% return on your
7:35 initial investment. You literally get
7:37 all of these bonuses, a six-star weapon
7:40 selection crate, and 32 or geometries
7:42 over time. Now, this or geometry is the
7:44 paid currency. But if we go back to the
7:46 event page and go to the new horizons
7:48 page that you guys saw, it tells you
7:50 here that just by playing the game, it
7:52 will reward you with 70 of these or
7:54 geometries naturally. So, make
7:56 absolutely sure that you save 29 of
7:58 these and immediately invest into the
8:01 second battle pass tier. There are 60
8:03 levels of this, which you can easily get
8:05 by playing naturally. And the last tier
8:07 will give you seven of those juicy geos.
8:09 The bottom tier is paid and does cost
8:11 $10 USD, so don't worry about that
8:13 unless you're like me and love spending
8:15 money on gacha games. I don't have a
8:18 problem. I promise. And finally, gacha.
8:19 So, this one's a bit controversial for
8:20 the community, and this beginner's guide
8:23 is not intended to give you a PhD thesis
8:24 on it. There's also not much I can show
8:26 here, so I'm just going to give you the
8:27 information that you need. The number
8:30 one rule, Enfield has a 120 pole spark
8:33 system that has a 100% guarantee of the
8:35 feature rate of character. This spark
8:37 system will never carry over to the next
8:41 banner. If you have 119 out of 120 spark
8:43 on the current banner, next banner, it's
8:45 gone. Zero out of 120. Goodbye to the
8:48 119 spark. The number one advice that
8:50 follows from this rule, do not pull
8:52 unless you can commit 120 pulls to the
8:54 character that you want. Okay, number
8:58 two rule, Enfield has a separate always
9:01 50/50 soft pity every 80 poles. This is
9:03 unrelated to the previous spark system I
9:06 just mentioned. This 50/50 soft pity
9:10 will never be guaranteed. So yes, you
9:12 can lose this 50/50 soft pity 10 times
9:15 in a row if you're unlucky. This 50/50
9:17 soft pity does carry over. This brings
9:19 us to the number two advice. There are
9:21 two counters always active. The 50/50
9:23 counter and the spark counter. All you
9:25 should care about as the player is the
9:28 spark counter. Okay, number three rule.
9:31 The 120 spark counter is one time per
9:35 banner. All subsequent spark guarantees
9:38 are double the amount at 240. So my
9:40 third advice, FTP and low spenders, I
9:43 highly recommend you do not chase for
9:45 more copies. Copies are like potentials,
9:46 right? Constellations, adalons, whatever
9:48 you want to say, sequence notes, etc.
9:51 Enfield is designed around a potential
9:53 zero, which is just the base character
9:55 and their signature weapon. anymore.
9:59 Even just P1 or P2 like other games is
10:01 completely whale territory in this game.
10:03 I personally will be operating on a P 0
10:05 collector account getting everyone at P
10:06 0. Only for characters I absolutely love
10:08 I will invest in maxing out. So that's
10:10 the major breakdown. Okay. Only pull for
10:12 a character if you have 120 pulls for
10:16 the banner. Not 119, not 110, not one,
10:17 120. Now don't worry about the pole
10:20 currency cost. It is 5,000 in this game,
10:22 but all your resources, whole income,
10:26 and spending are adjusted to match and
10:27 be slightly better than the Hoyo games
10:29 and Woo games that you're familiar with
10:30 with 1,600 currency. Don't worry about
10:32 the currency. The income that you get as
10:34 a free player, all that stuff is all
10:36 adjusted. Okay, cool. Now, for the
10:37 weapon banners, there's a lot of
10:39 built-in systems that make it very low
10:42 currency to invest. Okay, this one uses
10:44 a currency called Arsenal Ticket. First,
10:47 the character banner refunds you with
10:48 weapon banner currency. It's like a
10:50 cashback system. This will be your main
10:52 source of weapon banner pulls just from
10:54 the character banner. You can still
10:56 spend premium currency, those or
10:58 geometries to pull here. So, they will
10:59 supply the rest of the pulls if you
11:00 haven't achieved whatever weapon you
11:04 want. The base six-star weapon rate is
11:07 4%. So, it's just a 1 in 25 of receiving
11:10 any six-star weapon. Okay, there's a 40
11:13 soft pity and an 80 hard pity. Overall,
11:14 you got to accommodate a lot of things.
11:18 A much higher base rate, a super low
11:20 pity count, and built-in pulls from
11:21 character banner. The design of the
11:23 system is to make it very, very low
11:25 friction for you to get both one copy of
11:27 the character and the standard weapon.
11:29 And of course, you don't need to get the
11:30 six-star weapon if you don't want to. If
11:31 you want to save just for characters,
11:33 you can probably use four star fivestar
11:35 weapons. We will see how strong they are
11:36 in the game. Anyways, that's the gist of
11:38 the gadget system. They do have even
11:40 more nice refund systems for character
11:42 banners at 30 and 60 polls, which are
11:43 worth mentioning, but they're not worth
11:45 confusing you guys over the details
11:47 with. You'll see when you play. Again,
11:49 the number one rule that I will keep
11:51 repeating, do not commit to a character
11:53 banner unless you have 120 polls. If you
11:55 follow this one advice, you'll have a
11:57 great time in Enfield. You may be
11:59 rewarded early with the character that
12:01 you want, and that's great. Please walk
12:04 away. Just walk away. Do not further
12:06 engage with a casino, okay? it will
12:07 punish you for being greedy. At the end
12:09 of the day, Endfield has a solid variety
12:11 of content to appeal to multiple
12:12 different audiences. If you're a lore
12:15 enjoyer, base building menace, theory
12:17 crafter, casual collector, speedrun
12:19 whale, all the above, none of the above,
12:21 it doesn't matter. As long as you're
12:22 having fun and not at the expense of
12:24 others. If you're watching this on the
12:25 first day of release, I'll be doing a
12:27 24-hour launch celebration stream for
12:28 Enfield, available on Twitch and
12:30 possibly YouTube. Drop by if you want to
12:32 hang out. Other than that, don't forget
12:33 to like and subscribe for more Enfield
12:34 videos, and we'll see you on the next
