0:10 Martingale strategy which is essentially
0:13 the method of doubling your bet after
0:17 every loss there are three main
0:20 components for this strategy to work the
0:24 first is establishing your lost bet run
0:26 rate your lost bet run rate can be
0:29 thought of as the amount of consecutive
0:32 losses you can sustain before wiping out
0:35 your entire bankroll second you need to
0:37 determine how much money you want to
0:40 profit after each bet you win this
0:42 number should essentially stay constant
0:45 after any bet you win regardless of the
0:47 Lost Street you're on as long as you're
0:50 within your lost bet run rate and
0:52 finally the most important is funding
0:55 your bankroll once you've established
0:57 your lost bet run rate and the amount of
0:59 money you want to profit after each bet
1:01 you'll know exactly exactly how much you
1:02 need to fund your bankroll in order to
1:05 sustain this strategy I'm going to show
1:08 you the model that I've put together and
1:09 that's been working for us and I think
1:12 it's a way better visual to understand
1:14 how this works okay so what we're
1:17 looking at here is the model that my
1:19 friends and I put together the only
1:21 difference between each table is the
1:24 table on the right illustrates what a
1:27 lost bet run rate of 15 bets looks like
1:30 compared to just 10. you can see how the
1:34 bankroll is severely impacted in order
1:36 to sustain those additional five lost bets
1:37 bets
1:40 the second call out here is that we are
1:43 not doubling our bet after every loss as
1:45 the Martingale strategy traditionally
1:48 calls for instead we are only increasing
1:51 our bet by 50 after every loss we can
1:52 get away with this because we are only
1:55 placing bets that have a two to one odds
1:59 payout ratio so a 50 bet will win 100 a
2:01 75 bet will win 150 essentially every
2:03 bet we make will pay out double the
2:04 amount we bet
2:07 so my friends and I decided that we
2:09 wanted to have a lost bet run rate of
2:12 10. the hypothesis being we believed
2:15 that we could hit one in every 10 bets
2:18 that we made next we decided that our
2:21 unit size should be 100 meaning after
2:23 every bet we win we are going to profit
2:26 100 after establishing our lost bet run
2:29 rate of 10 and a unit size of 100 we
2:31 knew that we needed to fund our bankroll
2:35 of fifty six hundred dollars so walking
2:37 through how the betting strategy works
2:40 to make a hundred dollars on your first
2:42 bet having two to one odds we knew our
2:43 first bet would just need to be fifty
2:46 dollars if we lost that bet or any other
2:49 bet we just increased by 50 each time
2:53 now if we lose 10 bets in a row we wipe
2:54 out our entire bankroll we're out of
2:56 money we either have to refund the
2:59 account or never sports that again if we
3:01 win a bet whether it's our first BET our
3:03 fifth bet or our 10th bet we are always
3:05 only profiting a hundred dollars and
3:07 then after each bet we always just
3:10 restart the process starting over our
3:13 lost bet run run rate of 10. we've been
3:17 doing this for the last 10 months uh and
3:19 we've been we started to track our
3:21 progress in March once we crossed over
3:24 the ten thousand dollar threshold you'll
3:25 notice that the only best that we're
3:29 placing are two leg parlays so we are
3:31 placing multiple bets every single day
3:34 two leg parlays that have two to one uh
3:37 two to one odds payout ratio and
3:40 we've been charting our success over the
3:43 last 10 months and you can see right now
3:47 we are at 22 23 000 and our goal is to
3:50 turn our initial bankroll of 5600 into
3:53 30 grand to pay for an all-inclusive
3:56 golf trip we're 67 of the way there and
3:58 with college football and the NFL season
4:00 back we think we can hit our goal in the
4:01 next two months
