0:10 thank you
0:13 salutations and greetings ego hackers
0:15 welcome to today's video where we'll be
0:16 discussing the cognitive function known
0:19 as extroverted sensing or SE what is
0:21 extroverted sensing both of the sensing
0:23 functions deal with the awareness of
0:25 sensory experience anything to do with
0:27 the five senses so what you taste feel
0:30 smell touch or see those things are tied
0:32 to the sensing functions
0:35 while introverted sensing or Si governs
0:37 the realm of personal experience SC
0:38 governs the realm of collective
0:41 experience so an SI user would say this
0:44 is how I am experiencing this and an SE
0:46 user would say this is what they or we
0:50 are experiencing SC users then are aware
0:51 of how an experience impacts the five
0:54 senses of people around them but in SC
0:55 user's awareness goes one layer Beyond
0:57 The Five Senses Into the realm of attention
0:58 attention
1:00 SC users are aware of where other
1:02 people's attention is being directed
1:05 oftentimes especially for optimistic SC
1:08 users so the esps and enjs other
1:09 people's attention is what they're
1:12 seeking the most not all SE users want
1:13 constant attention but attention will
1:15 always refill an SE user when they're
1:17 running low
1:19 the SC function drives SE users to find
1:21 out how they can consistently compel the
1:23 attention of those around them
1:25 extroverted sensing is also the source
1:27 of one's performance all types can
1:28 perform in the broad sense but SC
1:30 performance is specifically expressed to
1:32 make a sensory impact on those around them
1:33 them
1:36 SC users perform in a variety of ways in
1:38 some cases the performance is a literal
1:40 performance like an athletic show
1:42 dancing acting but sometimes it's as
1:44 simple as just being the life of the
1:46 party the other part of SC performance
1:48 is much more practical in day to day
1:50 seus has Pride themselves on being able
1:52 to fix things and being able to
1:53 manipulate the physical environment
1:56 around them and they're also very
1:57 concerned with other people's
1:59 moment-to-moment comfort
2:01 so questions that an SE user might ask
2:04 would include things like are you
2:06 thirsty can I get you some water or you
2:08 seem really tired do you want to call it
2:09 a night
2:11 so just as any e-users manage the future
2:14 of others SC users manage the present
2:16 how does extroverted sensing work
2:18 extroverted sensing is tied via
2:20 cognitive access to introverted
2:21 Intuition or ni
2:23 cognitive access represents how two
2:25 functions are connected none of the
2:27 cognitive functions exist on their own
2:29 they exist in relation to other functions
2:30 functions
2:32 a cognitive axis is one of the ways that
2:34 cognitive functions communicate with
2:37 each other all SE users are ni users and
2:38 vice versa
2:41 if ni is desire then SC is the
2:43 expression of that desire
2:45 if you want to do something there is a
2:46 lag between envisioning it in your head
2:48 and actually doing it in a sexual
2:50 relationship SC users usually want to
2:53 give and lead the experience they impact
2:55 and shape other people's experiences by
2:58 creating Sensations SC users also make
3:00 decisions about what they want based on
3:01 what they observe in others
3:04 growing up seus or children latch on to
3:05 the actions and habits of those around
3:08 them activities they see their parents
3:10 friends or teachers doing are likely to
3:13 interest the SC user further most SC
3:15 users don't fully know what they want
3:17 until they witness it in others
3:20 what are SC users seeking SC users are
3:24 seeking two things loyalty and attention
3:26 reason being loyalty and attention are
3:27 the two biggest characteristics of
3:30 Essie's complementary function s i
3:33 versus loyalty SC users are seeking
3:34 loyalty instead fastness from those
3:36 around them they want people to stick
3:38 around with them through thick and thin
3:39 they want people to put their
3:41 unquestioned faith in them and be their
3:43 strength and source of perseverance
3:45 their desire for someone is directly
3:47 affected by how loyal that person
3:49 appears to be and the more they want
3:51 someone the more their SE goes out of
3:53 the way to grab the attention of the SI
3:55 users around them and have more and more
3:57 shared experiences with them
3:59 the other side of loyalty however is
4:02 strength SC users intuitively know that
4:04 loyalty from a strong person who is
4:05 capable of persevering through
4:07 difficulty is inherently more valuable
4:09 than loyalty from a weak person who
4:11 might break under the slightest
4:14 adversity SCU users seek to increase the
4:16 strength of those around them
4:18 in effect SC users are only as strong as
4:20 the people close to them
4:22 second is attention
4:24 attention is the SI user's way of
4:26 expressing interest and loyalty to an SE
4:29 user it is the currency that se users
4:30 utilize to determine the quality of
4:32 their own performance
4:33 if an SE user isn't getting any
4:35 attention they interpret it to mean
4:37 their performance has to be turned up
4:40 and all SE users fear that if their
4:42 performance is not good enough they'll
4:44 be abandoned by others SC users cannot
4:46 be comfortable until the people around
4:48 them are they're very sensitive to the
4:49 Comfort level of others around them when
4:51 others aren't comfortable so are they
4:54 but if they can make people in their
4:55 environment comfortable then they can
4:57 finally be comfortable too ultimately SC
4:59 users lack an internal source of endurance
5:00 endurance
5:02 when the SE user is engaged in something
5:04 they enjoy time can fly
5:07 but left to their own devices SC users
5:09 will lose momentum without reaffirming
5:12 attention and loyalty from others SI
5:14 users help stabilize SE users and become
5:16 a source of strength so that the SE user
5:18 can truly accomplish whatever they want
5:20 how can extroverted sensors avoid their
5:23 SC pitfalls the biggest obstacle for SC
5:26 users is over relying on their SE is
5:29 about performance and SC users utilize
5:30 their natural ability to maneuver in the
5:32 present moment to solve problems and
5:34 attain their goals because extroverted
5:37 sensing is fueled by ni SC users have a
5:38 natural Viewpoint that they can
5:40 accomplish whatever they want as long as
5:42 there's enough passion behind the ACT
5:44 this however is not true
5:47 SC users naturally ignore the longer but
5:48 more reliable road to consistent
5:50 performance which is practice and
5:52 consistent hard work
5:54 if an essay user wants to be great they
5:56 need to incorporate their SI function if
6:00 SE is performance then SI is practice it
6:02 is practice it's discipline routine and memory
6:03 memory
6:05 if an sc user is committed to practice
6:07 they'll utilize their SI function to
6:09 store their practice and routine and the
6:11 seus's performance will go up
6:13 exponentially based on the practice they
6:14 put in
6:16 while SC users are more on the natural
6:18 Talent side SI users are on the hard
6:20 work side
6:22 when the SE user stops ignoring the hard
6:24 work side and faces their daily
6:26 challenges head on their skills will
6:27 increase to levels where they can always
6:29 guarantee you good performance
6:32 when the SC user pulls from both their passion
6:33 passion
6:35 and I and their hard work
6:38 S.I it will be hard for them to find an
6:40 obstacle to meet their match with
6:42 practice and with passion the SC user's
6:43 performance has a chance to become
6:46 legendary if you enjoyed today's video
