1:15 you're at a low following you have to
1:17 figure out a way to boost the followers
1:19 and and if something goes up then you
1:21 have to like take advantage of that hop
1:23 on that wave make the most of your
1:25 traction so let's take this uh there's
1:27 this artist that I saw today who's on
1:29 Plat booy Max's song Wars right one of
1:31 his snip is blew up right he has like
1:32 500 followers people are kind of finding
1:34 him there's Tik toks of him that are
1:36 going up cuz obviously Max react as him
1:38 so what he's doing is he's you know
1:40 posting he's posting his Snippets he's
1:42 going live taking advantage of the
1:44 traction that he's already been getting
1:46 and that's important so that you know
1:49 for him it makes sense for him to post H
1:51 CU he has hella people on his page right
1:53 now looking at him it's really just once
1:55 you find once you get that initial buzz
1:57 you have to capitalize off of it you
2:00 know a lot of people so fago like they
2:02 stop once they get the buzz right so he
2:04 had that like knock knock right the Tik
2:05 Tok [ __ ] that blew him up and then he
2:07 had let's lose our minds whatever and he
2:09 just took like a year to drop that tape
2:10 I think that [ __ ] his career up
2:12 because everyone was waiting on that
2:14 tape he had like one year of people like
2:16 saying he was the next up Messiah the
2:18 underground people were saying Soo was
2:21 better than ye fago was was like a
2:24 prodigy and you know obviously the
2:25 narrative has completely shifted about
2:28 him so I think that's directly because
2:32 of him not capitalizing off of his buzz
2:36 so that's one thing um another thing for
2:37 this video I'm not going to make this
2:39 too long but there'll be some sauce in
2:42 here so definitely keep watching um the
2:44 next thing is crafting an image for
2:47 yourself now obviously everyone you know
2:50 wants to craft this uh opium aesthetic
2:52 right Street Wear aesthetic cool cool
2:54 whatever we can still do that just find
2:56 like a a niche know beneath that right
2:58 so take Net Spin right he has his uh has
3:01 his like badass [ __ ] kid like bad kid
3:03 aesthetic right like that's his thing no
3:05 one could take that away from him he's
3:07 kind of the only one like I guess doing

3:11 are a little bit questionable but as far
3:13 as like the aesthetic itself and you
3:14 know the stuff that he does it's not
3:17 necessarily corny now obviously dude has
3:19 money dude has connections so how do you
3:21 do this with no money and no connections
3:23 I think it's creativity the point is to
3:25 be creative especially with social media
3:27 and [ __ ] like that it's very hard for
3:30 authenticity to always rise you know
3:32 it's like we're being [ __ ] fed so
3:34 much [ __ ] people just want to like
3:36 look at the thing that's the most
3:37 flashier or the thing that's like the
3:39 coolest the thing that someone else did
3:41 you know what I mean so it's very hard
3:44 for authenticity to shine but I think
3:47 that that is the way you know you can't
3:48 I guess you can't have a long lasting
3:51 career if you don't strive on
3:52 authenticity because people are always
3:54 going to see through that and you'll
3:56 just be another ice spice but yeah with
3:58 that being said I'm going to get into
4:00 one more one more top topic so I think
4:03 this one is pretty interesting that is
4:05 marketing one of the most important
4:06 things as an artist if you don't know
4:08 how to Market yourself then most likely
4:10 are never going to see any type of
4:12 traction people think marketing
4:14 themselves as an artist means going on
4:17 Instagram and posting a real using the
4:19 right hashtags it goes much deeper than
4:22 that it's about structuring an image for
4:24 yourself figuring out how other people
4:25 will like it right if you don't have a
4:29 lane and you don't kind of know like who
4:30 you make music for like let's say you
4:32 make like a little bit of everything
4:34 it's kind of hard for you to be like in
4:35 a certain Lane so you have to pick like
4:37 a certain style and kind of Mark
4:40 yourself towards a community of those
4:42 people right so like if people say you
4:45 sound like Nest spin like don't [ __ ]
4:47 copy Nets Spen [ __ ] but what you can do
4:49 is you can Market yourself towards
4:50 people who listen to Nets Spen because
4:53 then you know naturally they'll be like
4:56 oh this dude sounds like n you know you
4:57 won't be like a clone but you'll kind of
5:00 like blow up in the same way if makes
5:01 sense and keep in mind this is all off
5:03 the fly I'm not like doing a script or
5:05 anything cuz I feel like it's it's more
