0:03 work less earn more enjoy life that's my
0:06 motto that's my value proposition if you
0:10 were to go to my website and success is
0:13 counterintuitive and that motto has
0:16 brought me the most growth in my life by
0:18 living by that motto because working
0:22 less and forcing myself to try to work
0:25 less and build Solutions so that I can
0:27 work less rather than just be like oh
0:30 you can't work two to four hours a day
0:31 you can only work eight hours a day it's
0:33 like no I can work as much as I [ __ ]
0:35 want to if I build the systems that
0:37 allow me to do that and it's just
0:41 obvious working less leads to higher
0:43 quality rest or more rest which leads to
0:47 higher quality work and so myself and
0:49 others that are on this whole four hour
0:51 work day kick are usually producing
0:53 better work than most of the people that
0:56 are working 12 to 16 hours a day just
0:58 being the hustle and grind entrepreneur
1:02 that is a bit too promoted on social
1:04 media so it's worth less but earn more
1:07 earning more is subjective it's up to
1:10 the individual right I would say that
1:13 most people want to earn more but they
1:15 want to do it doing what they enjoy so
1:16 that's another thing that I live by
1:19 another rule where I have to build I
1:21 have to create a way for myself to do
1:24 that and not just expect it to fall into
1:26 my lap so earning more is subjective but
1:29 over time I truly do believe that anyone
1:32 that has the dedication or at least the
1:36 will or want and consistency to do what
1:39 they enjoy for the rest of their life
1:41 and make a good income doing it they can
1:43 do that why wouldn't they be able to and
1:46 then the last part of the motto is enjoy
1:49 life and that is usually a byproduct of
1:51 both of working less resting more
1:53 earning more and just having the time
1:55 and location freedom to be able to do
1:58 what you choose to do with your life
2:00 that's what I'm all about and it's so
2:02 weird when I see people in the comments
2:04 or other things like challenging this
2:07 notion it's like dude like do you just
2:08 believe that you have no [ __ ] control
2:10 over your life like yeah you're not
2:12 gonna have it right now it takes some
2:13 time I could go on about this all day
2:17 but like dude like just believe in
2:19 yourself as simple as that sounds just like
2:20 like
2:22 work towards a better future for
2:24 yourself but the thing is I also fell
2:26 into the Trap of wanting to live the
2:29 life of other people beachfront views
2:31 and the sand in my toes and a tan like
2:35 David Hasselhoff and sipping Coconuts on
2:37 the Beach while working from my laptop
2:40 and that was until I experienced that
2:42 life I'm not here to kind of [ __ ] on the
2:45 digital Nomad culture I think it's great
2:47 I really do think it's great but like
2:49 who wants to do that it kind it gets old
2:51 very quick where you're trying to work
2:54 on the beach and you can't even see your
2:56 screen because the glare from the sun
2:58 and it gets too hot and you have to
3:00 reapply sunscreen and you're like I'm
3:01 [ __ ] thirsty I'd rather just be
3:04 inside working and so I don't know that
3:06 kind of stuff it's like yeah you have to
3:07 go through trial and error to understand
3:09 what you want you have to figure out
3:10 what you don't want in order to figure
3:12 out what you want but you have to
3:14 understand that the the glamor and the
3:16 different Lifestyles that people promote
3:18 it's for it's dopamine right you're
3:19 you're seeing something that you want
3:21 and then one once you achieve it if you
3:23 don't appreciate it and make it a part
3:26 of your life then that is going to fade
3:29 very quickly the Wi-Fi connection in
3:31 those areas gets old the partying and
3:32 the language barrier and doing the
3:34 things that you see on social media as a
3:36 highlight reel they really do get old
3:39 and so the purpose of this video I want
3:42 to talk about moderation and
3:44 sustainability because we just talked
3:45 about how some of those things or at
3:48 least the Glamorous things are not truly
3:50 sustainable so I want to present a
3:53 business model that allows you to create
3:55 your ideal lifestyle through practice
3:58 experimentation and iteration it's a way
4:01 to make a creative income source with
4:04 your skills interests and expertise but
4:06 it's not limited to people that already
4:09 have those things business in the modern
4:11 day with social media and the internet
4:13 and it being so accessible and low
4:15 startup costs you don't have to pay
4:18 money to post something online and ask
4:21 for money in exchange for a valuable
4:23 service like a freelance service or
4:24 Consulting service or even just a
4:27 coaching caller something that is very
4:29 beginner level that you can then build
4:31 up and increase from there as you gain
4:33 experience and so it's kind of A New
4:35 Path it's a new business model because
4:37 of all the technological advancements
4:39 but the thing is is that people still
4:41 consider it taboo because they aren't in
4:43 the game it hasn't been around for that
4:45 long but it's here to stay you're going
4:48 if you decide to pursue this way of like
4:50 social media and digital products and
4:52 Digital Services and all these things
4:54 that are growing and growing over time
4:56 there's some statistic about the
4:59 education industry increasing by XYZ and
5:01 you understand that I am an educator
5:04 whether I like to label myself as that
5:07 or not uh every single person on YouTube
5:09 that is a value Creator rather than an
5:11 entertainment Creator is an educator
5:15 they are teachers this is a new method
5:18 of Education that college and formal
5:20 institutions cannot keep up with because
5:21 because their curriculum cannot be
5:23 updated to match
5:25 something that isn't going to put them
5:28 into a job because the school system and
5:31 just corporate government stuff is all
5:33 tied together they're training into one
5:35 another and so the internet it threatens
5:38 that because it gives the individual the
5:40 power to make a creative income on their
5:42 own and so the education around that
5:46 from individuals on social media and
5:47 course platforms and other things you
5:49 know where they are the school system
5:51 just can't keep up with that so that's
5:53 the main thing is it is completely in
5:54 your hands and if you do not like that
5:57 if you do not value self-reliance or
5:58 personal responsibility or just taking
6:00 control of your own life then this isn't
6:03 for you yet until you come to the
6:04 realization that if you want true
6:05 happiness those are going to have to
6:08 become values of yours so if you're
6:10 watching this or listening to this I'm
6:12 assuming that you're between 18 and 35
6:14 years old that's what it shows on my
6:17 analytics I have your age I have your
6:19 demographics I'm going to steal them all
6:21 and sell it to private third-party
6:23 software I'm just kidding I don't do
6:24 anything with it aside from look at this
6:27 but 18 to 35 years old
6:29 and some outliers I see you if you're
6:31 like 40 50 you're trying to get into
6:32 this space when you're older that's
6:35 [ __ ] awesome props to you but 18 to
6:40 35. now the problem is that most people
6:43 don't see those 18 to 35 years as past
6:46 experience that they can leverage to
6:48 help other people you haven't
6:50 self-reflected enough to see your own
6:51 value and the problems you've overcome
6:55 and that you are genuinely equipped with
6:57 information that can help other people
7:00 that you can educate them on and just
7:01 help them so the first thing is that you
7:03 don't think you have enough experience
7:04 the second thing is that you think
7:06 you're too boring you think your life's
7:09 too boring when this is the cause of
7:10 social media and what we were talking
7:11 about earlier with the Glamorous
7:13 Lifestyles you don't need a glamorous
7:15 lifestyle to do this stuff you need to
7:17 be interested enough to make your
7:20 interest interesting to other people I
7:22 always recommend starting with writing
7:25 like Twitter newsletter blog even
7:27 YouTube I'm reading
7:29 my newsletter from this but that's the
7:31 thing you don't need to even put your
7:33 face on the account you don't have to do
7:34 any of that stop letting the limiting
7:36 beliefs what I'm saying is the very
7:38 thing first thing I said at the start of
7:40 this video is that if you want to
7:41 accomplish something then you need to
7:43 build a solution in order to accomplish
7:44 it if you want to start a business
7:46 without having to show your body then
7:48 build a [ __ ] business without having
7:50 to show your body like it's that simple
7:53 stop convincing yourself otherwise that
7:55 you can't do something because you're
7:57 not doing it like everyone else and from
7:59 my experience the highest paid
8:01 individuals aren't the ones with the
8:02 looks and glamor those people are
8:04 banking on sponsorships and other things
8:06 and they're not making very much money I
8:08 know that the the people that make the
8:11 most money are the generalists they
8:13 aren't one-dimensional they're
8:15 multi-dimensional because they're the
8:17 generalists that hire the Specialists
8:18 everyone tells you to become a
8:19 specialist when that's the worst thing
8:22 you can do why because Specialists mean
8:26 that you do x y z you go ABC you do a
8:28 specific thing you do a specific thing
8:30 and that is just
8:32 primed for automation it's being
8:34 automated out left and right right you
8:37 are not a robot you are not I performed
8:38 this specific task with this specific
8:41 skill because that's where that's where
8:42 you get automated right that you're able
8:44 to be trained into that you need to be a
8:47 generalist and be able to move artfully
8:48 and gracefully within a specific domain
8:51 of interest that you have so I guess
8:54 general rule of thumb is that if you
8:56 work like a robot then you are a robot
8:58 and you will be outsourced to robots and
9:00 your job will be replaced a human being
9:02 should be able to change a diaper plan
9:05 an invasion butcher a hog con a ship
9:07 design a building write a sonnet balance
9:09 accounts build a wall set a bone Comfort
9:12 the dying take orders give orders
9:15 cooperate act alone solve equations
9:17 analyze a new problem pitch manure
9:19 program a computer cook a tasty meal
9:22 fight efficiently die gallantly
9:25 specialization is for insects that is a
9:28 quote from Robert a Heinlein so even
9:31 more of a problem than not seeing your
9:34 own personal experience as valuable is
9:36 ineffective communication because that's
9:38 all people on social media are doing is
9:39 just effective and persuasive
9:41 communication to make their own
9:44 interests valuable and interesting or at
9:45 least perceived as valuable and
9:48 interesting to other people that is the
9:51 skill that you have to master is writing
9:53 effective communication and also
9:55 Effective Thinking because writing is
9:57 how you clarify your thoughts the one
9:59 person business model has always
10:01 appealed to me over having employees
10:03 a simple website as a storefront a
10:05 digital product stack with high profit
10:07 margins for our work days and potential
10:09 one million dollar years control over
10:11 what you work on and who you work with
10:14 hard to beat the one person business in
10:16 my eyes is for those that value
10:19 self-reliance time freedom and location
10:22 Freedom sovereignty autonomy just being
10:24 able to do what you want and having
10:26 enough money to do so while impacting
10:28 the world and having a purpose behind
10:30 your life so one person businesses they
10:33 use social media for building an
10:35 audience building a community and
10:37 attracting people of like Minds right so
10:39 they have so they have leverage for the
10:41 future by building an audience because
10:43 you see a freelancer and they just send
10:45 cold DMS all day well it's like I build
10:49 an audience and I can like sell
10:51 different offers whenever I want as long
10:52 as they're helpful to my audience and
10:54 they want to purchase them willingly and
10:57 so they use social media as traffic and
10:58 then in order to host their products or
11:01 their content or even their newsletter
11:03 we use no code tools right which is just
11:06 software so a website builder maybe a
11:09 social media scheduler things like that
11:12 where those do specialize tasks
11:15 that other people got replaced from
11:16 doing like social media managers as a
11:19 whole are going to be outsourced to just
11:20 software that can
11:23 do those repetitive tasks at a much much
11:25 much cheaper price and so that is
11:27 opening up room for individuals for
11:30 solopreneurs for one person businesses
11:32 to have every aspect of their business
11:34 managed without them having to do
11:36 anything aside from oversee the software
11:40 and add their mind or their creative
11:42 ability to those softwares together in
11:43 order to create a successful business
11:45 and so another important aspect of the
11:47 one-person business is lifestyle design
11:50 because if you work for someone else you
11:53 have a manager they manage you but when
11:54 you work for yourself you can sleep in
11:57 until 1 pm but are you going to get your
12:00 work done if you can get your work done
12:01 how are you going to systemize that how
12:03 are you going to structure your days for
12:06 both maximum productivity and maximum
12:08 creativity how are you going to design
12:10 the life that you want to live through
12:12 trial error experimentation and just
12:14 self-reflection and understanding the
12:18 problems that are blocking your quality
12:19 of life so you have to understand as
12:21 well that there is no such situation in
12:23 a one-person business because if it is a
12:25 one-person business it means it evolves
12:28 with you I used to sell digital products
12:30 and I no longer sell them because I
12:33 evolved I changed I pivoted a bit and I
12:34 changed what I offer I started a
12:36 different business whatever it may be
12:39 but that's the thing is I desaturated
12:41 that market because I can only take on
12:43 so much right this is the one person
12:45 business model is everyone taking their
12:47 piece of the pie by doing what they
12:49 truly enjoy and if everyone did that you
12:51 would have to understand that every
12:53 single interest every single person is
12:54 going to study different interests
12:57 they're going to explore the the crevice
12:59 of reality that they are the most
13:01 curious about and distill their
13:03 learnings to the people that want to
13:06 learn about those things and so if every
13:08 if every single person was authentic and
13:10 honest with what they wanted to pursue
13:12 and their ability to monetize that so
13:15 let's say I want to start carving out
13:18 like Woodworking and selling cutting
13:20 boards right and so I study woodworking
13:24 I study uh like design kitchenware
13:25 design or something like that right you
13:27 can see that
13:29 like your interests are not the only one
13:31 that exists because that's the Trap that
13:33 a lot of us fall into as well like well
13:35 everyone's doing self-improvement
13:37 everyone's studying self-improvement
13:39 everyone's a programmer it's like no
13:40 dude it's because you're interested in
13:42 those things and you're following the
13:44 five to seven hundred people that talk
13:46 about those things only so that's all
13:47 that's in your brain you haven't broken
13:49 out of that bubble or and that's fine
13:51 because you're supposed to be exploring
13:52 that and you're supposed to be creating
13:54 your own unique perspective to
13:57 further understanding in those areas to
13:59 educate people in a better way than
14:02 schools can do so there are two paths to
14:06 starting a one-person business with zero
14:08 experience and first I want you to stop
14:10 thinking of business as some like
14:12 billion dollar company or something like
14:15 that business is what you do business is
14:18 your life's work business is the vessel
14:21 to create your ideal lifestyle while
14:25 impacting The World At Large so money is
14:28 a modern byproduct of living with
14:30 purpose and passing down your teachings
14:33 it's self-actualization and
14:35 self-transcendence it is a vessel for
14:37 that I like to think of it there's like
14:39 mindfulness techniques and spirituality
14:43 there's Zen techniques for achieving
14:45 this actualization or Enlightenment for
14:48 me because you're not supposed to become
14:51 ideological or dogmatic about one method
14:53 to achieving one specific outcome that's
14:55 not how it works business business to me
14:58 is that method of doing it it's a way of
15:00 exposing myself to the world practicing
15:02 mindfulness clarifying my thoughts with
15:04 writing and putting out a meaningful
15:06 message and now we're going to bring up
15:07 the experience thing or imposter
15:09 syndrome here again I just want to make
15:11 it very clear that if you could go to
15:13 your friend right now and you could
15:14 teach him about something that you are
15:17 studying on social media or in school or
15:18 whatever it may be you're more than
15:20 experienced you're already doing this
15:22 [ __ ] you just need to do it in public so
15:24 the first path is skill base this is the
15:26 one that most people take where the
15:29 common advice is learn a skill sell a
15:32 skill teach a skill or however within
15:34 that many however you would organize
15:35 those from one to three and this is
15:38 great but as I said you don't want to
15:39 end up one-dimensional you don't want to
15:41 sell only one skill so that way you're
15:43 automated it's a great starting point
15:45 but you have to be working to get past
15:46 that or else you're just going to be
15:49 that freelancer that's making the same
15:51 income built themselves into a new nine
15:53 to five consistently on the verge of
15:56 losing every single client than just not
15:58 having a backup or some form of Leverage
16:02 built like an audience to to Pivot and
16:04 do whatever they want and are able to
16:06 pursue their genuine Curiosities that
16:08 are going to change and evolve over time
16:10 so path two the one that I like is
16:13 development based so the development
16:15 base is based around the four Eternal
16:17 markets the Eternal markets are where
16:19 most people are trying to achieve lofty
16:22 goals but there are many problems in the
16:24 way of those goals then that's where the
16:25 most money is made those are the
16:27 profitable burning problems that people
16:30 have the four Eternal markets are health
16:32 wealth relationships and happiness so
16:34 path one by choosing a marketable skill
16:36 usually only pays attention to wealth
16:38 but with path two
16:42 it's just built for the business of you
16:45 the one person business because he quite
16:47 literally pursue your own goals which is
16:49 your brand which we'll talk about you
16:51 solve your own problems as you are
16:54 pursuing those goals by uh researching
16:56 your Curiosities that allow you to
16:58 achieve those goals faster which is the
17:00 content the information and the value
17:02 that you're passing down and you create
17:04 a system to help others do the same so
17:06 you self-reflect and you look back how
17:08 would I have done this better how can I
17:10 how did I do this and what results did I
17:12 have now how can I help other people
17:15 step by step in a faster way get to
17:17 those results so you're advancing human
17:19 evolution you're helping people evolve
17:21 and trans or actualize and transcend
17:22 much faster and that's why I said
17:25 business to me is this vessel for
17:27 self-actualization and even spirituality
17:29 and self-transcendence and so that
17:32 system that step-by-step system is your
17:34 offer or your product and so that is how
17:36 you be yourself improve yourself and
17:38 profit off of yourself you may be
17:40 wondering like but but Dan I'm I'm just
17:42 starting out and it's like you don't
17:45 have to write posts or create a product
17:46 where it's like how to make a million
17:48 dollars in three days you don't have to
17:49 do that you have to pay attention to
17:52 where you are now where you're going and
17:54 how you're going to get there right so
17:56 where you are now you may have made zero
17:58 dollars and so how do you position your
17:59 content or your product how do you
18:02 position or what perspective are you
18:04 giving about yourself so how do people
18:06 perceive you right you can you don't
18:07 write a post on how to make a million
18:09 dollars in three days you're right
18:10 here's how I'm going to make a million
18:13 dollars in five years
18:15 yeah I mean it you know and then you
18:16 give out your plan and then people
18:18 follow along because you are a leader
18:20 then and people follow leaders you are
18:23 positioning yourself as a leader you're
18:25 helping people achieve the goals that
18:26 you are trying to achieve and you're
18:28 kind of leaving breadcrumbs along the
18:31 way and then path three is both both
18:33 skill and development based and this is
18:35 kind of a given because when you start
18:36 and you haven't learned any skills yet
18:39 this is how you learn fast if you're
18:41 going to start on social media as your
18:43 way of generating traffic then you're
18:45 going to have to learn how to design a
18:47 good profile picture how to design a
18:49 good Banner how to write a compelling
18:51 compelling bio you're gonna have to
18:53 learn how to write social media posts so
18:55 you could become a Twitter ghost writer
18:57 you could become an Instagram post
19:00 Creator how whatever you call that you
19:02 could become a video editor you could be
19:05 you could design uh banners for people
19:08 you're building skills as you grow your
19:10 business and that means you can help
19:12 other people grow their business and
19:14 offer a freelancer service so you can
19:16 start monetizing pretty close to from
19:18 the start and you're doing it in such a
19:21 way that you're you're actually getting
19:23 results for yourself if you get results
19:25 for yourself in a real world setting
19:27 rather than just building out portfolio
19:30 pieces and never getting paid what you
19:31 deserve because you don't know how to
19:33 apply your skills to someone's actual
19:36 business then you practice your skills
19:38 on your own business you build your own
19:39 website you build your own landing page
19:41 maybe you build a landing page from a
19:44 for an affiliate product to see how good
19:46 you are at copywriting because then you
19:47 don't even have to create the product
19:49 you just build an affiliate product
19:51 build your own landing page see how good
19:53 you are at that and then you can offer
19:54 selling landing pages for one to two
19:57 thousand dollars to other creators you
19:58 see what I'm saying here all you have to
20:00 do is just [ __ ] start so now let's go
20:02 over the four pillars of the one-person
20:04 business so for those that want to do
20:06 what they want and help the people that
20:08 they can help the most traditional
20:11 branding marketing content and offer
20:13 advice is not going to fit very well
20:15 because in the case of this one-person
20:17 business that I'm talking about in the
20:18 next video we'll go over what a value
20:20 Creator is it's a style of one person
20:22 business and I'm breaking these down
20:23 because it takes more than just one
20:26 video to do but in this case the
20:28 experience model that I'm talking about
20:31 you are your customer Avatar you are
20:33 your brand you are your Niche you are
20:35 your content you are your offer you are
20:37 everything and self-awareness and
20:38 self-reliance is going to be the
20:40 greatest skill that you have and those
20:42 are the people that thrive the most in
20:44 this one-person business model is those
20:45 that take responsibility for their
20:48 future and help others get to where
20:50 they're going so to break down the
20:52 one-person business very quickly your
20:55 goals are your brand so what do you want
20:57 out of life and what are you leading
21:00 people towards now the problems that are
21:02 standing in the way of your goals turn
21:06 into the content so what roadblocks will
21:08 your followers encounter and how are you
21:10 going to help them overcome it and now
21:12 there's a lot more that goes into
21:14 content than that but that's a great
21:16 starting point right and so systems are
21:18 how you solve the problem turns into a
21:20 product so how can they solve their
21:22 problems faster because that's what
21:25 people want and now the benefits how has
21:28 this entire Journey impacted your life
21:30 that turns into your marketing so why
21:31 should they care about your message
21:34 right why do I write every day and how
21:36 can I turn that into a persuasive
21:38 argument anyone who studied marketing
21:40 understands that benefits Rich language
21:42 is extremely powerful and persuasive so
21:45 if I wake up and I write not only to
21:49 earn an income think much more clearly
21:51 systemize all of my other content I
21:54 could go on day like all day long but
21:55 you can go and look at those benefits
21:57 and how exactly I'm doing this on any of
22:00 my landing pages so what you do as I
22:02 mentioned in a previous video on how to
22:03 solve your own problems or how to find
22:06 Purpose By solving your own problems is
22:07 that that's exactly what you do you
22:08 pursue a goal you solve your own
22:10 problems you teach others how you did it
22:12 and that's your business right and then
22:14 when it comes to building out a product
22:15 or a service that you can sell in
22:17 relation to that then it just works out
22:19 and this is of course oversimplified
22:21 there's many many nuances here but if
22:24 you take these foundational principles
22:26 and apply them then figure out and test
22:29 and experiment and do exactly what I'm
22:31 telling you to do by figuring it out for
22:33 yourself so you actually have unique and
22:35 genuine knowledge on how to do it it's
22:37 going to take time but that time is
22:39 going to pay back tenfold aside from you
22:41 hiring someone to build your brand for
22:43 you because then you're just
22:46 relinquishing all potential leverage and
22:49 just power all right so branding is is
22:51 fairly understandable that's where you
22:53 work towards a goal and that is your
22:54 brand message that's what you're helping
22:56 people do if your goal is to make a
22:58 million dollars then your mission or
23:00 your message that you can start with and
23:01 iterate from
23:05 is helping a thousand people
23:09 make a million dollars by 2025 right who
23:11 wouldn't want to follow that so the next
23:13 pillar content is where people have the
23:15 most problems it's like Dan what do I
23:17 write about so let me introduce you to a
23:20 topic that I talk about in digital
23:22 economics called the domain of Mastery
23:24 so what you do is you pick three
23:26 interests one that makes money which is
23:27 almost any of them that's just your
23:30 priority interest interest two excites
23:32 you and interest three is development
23:33 based so like psychology
23:35 self-improvement self-development
23:37 metaphysics philosophy something that
23:39 helps you understand just the
23:42 progression pattern of every single
23:45 thing anyone could ever do so you can
23:47 have a unique perspective on those
23:49 things by applying spirituality
23:52 principles philosophy psychology that
23:53 kind of stuff and then when you look at
23:55 this graph you can break them down into
23:57 the principles so what are the
23:59 fundamentals or the principles of each
24:01 interest in getting results with those
24:03 in relation to your goal and then from
24:05 that you can break them down into other
24:07 topics you can break them down into
24:09 mentors for inspiration so the people
24:12 that you follow
24:15 and get your advice from and then the
24:16 connections so the connections between
24:19 all of them and real world problems and
24:21 those are all the starting places that
24:22 you can
24:24 start writing or creating content around
24:26 in a way that is very effective and
24:28 educational and valuable so pillar
24:30 number three is the offer or the product
24:33 that you're creating and no you don't
24:35 have to wait to start monetizing I hate
24:37 that stupid gatekeeper mindset where
24:39 people are like oh you need to be this
24:41 experience to start making an income or
24:44 you need to start doing this to start
24:46 making an income it's like no dude like
24:47 you don't you don't [ __ ] understand
24:49 you're just gatekeeping and you're
24:52 trying to like you're not thinking like
24:54 think a bit deeper right how do
24:56 Freelancers start making money they
24:58 learn the found fundamentals of a skill
25:00 very very quickly they start reaching
25:02 out to people immediately so they can go
25:04 get real world free
25:07 real world feedback next they either
25:09 charge free or very low cost because
25:11 their skill isn't up to par to charge
25:14 two to five thousand dollars and then
25:16 they gradually work their way up step by
25:19 step and the sooner you start selling
25:21 something not only the sooner you can
25:23 make money but the sooner you can start
25:26 failing and you can start iterating the
25:28 first product is always going to be [ __ ]
25:31 you just need to get it out you need to
25:32 get the [ __ ] out so that you can make it
25:34 better because you're never ever ever
25:37 gonna have a great product the first
25:38 time around it's just not gonna [ __ ]
25:41 happen put an offer out there build a
25:42 digital product sell a physical product
25:45 the drop ship if you have to start a
25:46 freelance service start a Consulting
25:48 service whatever it may be put out
25:51 content and just start getting the [ __ ]
25:54 out of the faucet so clear water can
25:55 flow so it's like okay Dan but what do I
25:57 sell so let me introduce to you what I
25:59 call the minimum viable offer there's
26:01 minimum viable product but an offer is
26:03 like all encompassing so the minimum
26:06 viable offer is I either a single a
26:08 single freelance skill that you sell for
26:09 five five hundred to one thousand
26:11 dollars so that's web design email
26:13 marketing something like that where a
26:15 single skill you're not it's not a crazy
26:16 offer you're never going to be able to
26:18 charge five thousand dollars for that
26:20 but you have to start somewhere or
26:23 number two is a single
26:25 interest Consulting service where you
26:27 sell a pack of four calls for five
26:29 hundred to one thousand dollars so this
26:30 is what most people do and most people
26:33 get like get caught up in this it's like
26:35 there's some kind of stupid stigma
26:37 around freelancing where it's like yeah
26:40 I have to do the work I can't just teach
26:41 people about it and it's like as a
26:44 Creator me I hate paying for work I'd
26:46 rather pay you to get on a call with me
26:48 and consult me on how to do a specific
26:50 thing whether it's a skill or not if
26:52 it's health I want to be taught if
26:53 you're starting an education business
26:57 like this then don't do a freelance done
26:59 for you service just offer Consulting
27:03 calls or a digital product so Health
27:05 coaching Fitness coaching performance
27:07 coaching mindset coaching life coaching
27:09 business coaching of whatever domain or
27:11 Niche you're in those are very broad you
27:13 can go a bit more deep into the sub
27:15 markets within those like bodybuilding
27:19 coaching or uh Nero
27:21 neural hacking
27:23 Consulting right it's what you're
27:25 interested in and you can only find what
27:27 it is that you want to teach by diving
27:30 into your domain of Mastery or the
27:33 crevice of reality that composes the
27:34 interest you want to explore in this
27:37 life but it's not like Consulting isn't
27:38 only limited to those I'm really
27:41 surprised that like digital tutoring
27:43 offers aren't more of a thing if I learn
27:45 web design and I want to teach a Creator
27:48 over four calls how to design a great
27:50 website for themselves I think that's a
27:51 great [ __ ] offer and if I was
27:53 starting out I would pay for that it's
27:55 the same thing I'll get on calls for
27:57 four weeks with you and teach you how to
27:58 write compelling emails I'll teach you
28:00 how to run Facebook ads it's a
28:03 Consulting offer and I think those are
28:05 much better
28:07 much more scalable than a freelance
28:10 offer and so the thing why we start with
28:12 a minimum viable offer is that you can
28:13 start monetizing immediately you can
28:15 start reaching out to people in the DMS
28:17 you can write a Twitter thread or a post
28:19 and have others retweet it and then plug
28:20 your service so you're getting a
28:22 thousand to
28:24 if it goes viral a million views on your offer
28:25 offer
28:27 and you start making money because it's
28:29 traffic and it's offers and so the other
28:31 thing is why you start with this is
28:33 because then you can start fleshing out
28:34 a digital product and already have
28:36 results for it you can teach other
28:38 people you can get them results and you
28:40 can note the commonalities between like
28:41 what you're talking about on each call
28:43 and you package it up into a course
28:46 ebook a cohort something of that nature
28:49 that you can then switch to and so you
28:51 can stop taking on so much client work
28:52 as your audience grows and you can
28:54 switch to a digital product and have
28:56 more free time and so that was just a
28:58 broad overview of all of this one-person
29:00 business stuff I'll go a bit more in
29:02 depth in the next video but I want to
29:05 get more people primed uh to this whole
29:08 idea because I feel like it's it's not
29:10 ground shaking or revolutionary by any
29:12 means but it is very important so with
29:15 all of that like the video subscribe for
29:17 the next one and if you haven't already
29:19 consider enrolling in digital economics
29:21 I believe when this video goes out it
29:24 starts next week so only the first
29:26 people that actually view this video
29:27 will be able to get at it when it's live
29:30 but later on you can apply uh to the
29:32 wait list and you can also check out
29:34 other stuff down there like the two hour
29:37 writer course or modern Mastery which is
29:39 my community and other free creative
29:41 challenges a power planner all of that
29:43 fun stuff so thank you for watching or
29:45 listening and I'll see you in the next
