0:48 alike one night a mysterious woman clad
0:50 in a black outfit steps through the wall
0:53 into ichigo's bedroom this is Rukia
0:56 kuchki a Shinigami or a god of death
0:59 surprised Ichigo can see her rookie
1:01 explains that as Shinigami it's her job
1:03 to help Spirits pass on to the afterlife
1:07 to a world called The Soul Society but
1:08 more on that later
1:11 that night the Kurosaki household comes
1:13 under attack a hollow is seeking out

1:18 attempts to defend him but suffers a
1:21 mortal wound in a desperate last-ditch

1:35 success Ichigo now is Shinigami himself
1:38 and wielding a colossal blade defeats
1:39 the hollow
1:41 unfortunately the transfer of powers
1:44 worked too well Rukia has been stripped
1:47 of all her powers leaving her stranded
1:50 in the human world for the time being so
1:52 until rookia's powers can return to her
1:54 Ichigo takes on the role of a substitute
1:56 Shinigami filling in farukia and
1:58 defending the residents of karakura town
2:01 from Hollows including his close friends
2:05 orahime inue and Sado Chad yasatora one
2:08 particularly nasty Hollow who was evil
2:11 in life as well is sent to Hell instead
2:12 of the Soul Society
2:15 Ichigo undertakes a variety of missions
2:17 ranging from capturing a renegade called
2:20 con to helping Don kanoji a famous TV
2:22 personality best Hollow in the local
2:25 hospital but one day Ichigo asks to
2:27 pause his substitute Shinigami duties
2:29 it's the anniversary of his mother
2:31 masaki's death
2:33 during a trip to the graveyard so the
2:35 family can pay their yearly respects the
2:37 Kurosaki sisters are attacked by the
2:40 foulest hollow of them all Grand Fisher
2:42 a True Villain and the hollow
2:44 responsible for attacking and killing
2:46 masaki so many years ago
2:49 despite a vicious battle where Ichigo is
2:51 seriously wounded he gains the upper
2:54 hand on the hollow and after dealing a
2:56 critical blow forces Grand Fisher to
2:59 flee settling into his role ichigo's
3:01 beliefs are challenged by a boy in his
3:03 class who do you Ishida a mystical
3:05 Archer with a vendetta against the
3:08 Shinigami uriu belongs to a clan called
3:11 the Quincy who wiped out 200 years ago
3:14 by the Shinigami uriu baits an army of
3:15 Hollows to karakura town in order to
3:18 kill them all but things quickly get out
3:20 of hand during the appearance of these
3:23 Hollows ichigo's friends orohime and
3:25 Chad develop powers and abilities of
3:28 their own Orihime gains the power of the
3:31 shun shunrika six fairies born from her
3:33 hairpieces that can create defensive
3:36 Shields and restore wounds while Chad
3:39 wields the right arm of the giant which
3:41 gives him immense destructive and
3:44 defensive power Ichigo and uriu put
3:46 their differences aside and work
3:49 together to fight a menosgrande a
3:51 towering Hollow with Ichigo eventually
3:53 repelling it showcasing unbelievable
3:56 latent strength everything seems to be
3:58 working out well for Ichigo and the
4:01 others but one night two shadowy figures
4:03 arrive in karakura and they're here to
4:05 arrest rookia the two figures are
4:07 high-ranking officers from the soul
4:10 Society itself Vice Captain renji abarai
4:13 and Captain biakiyakuchi rukia's older
4:16 brother Rukia has committed the grave
4:18 crime of giving a human her Shinigami
4:21 powers and now the sole Society has
4:23 issued a warrant for her capture Ichigo
4:25 tries to save Rukia and momentarily
4:28 manages to overpower renji but is
4:30 quickly defeated and incapacitated by
4:33 biakia the trio of Shinigami leave the
4:36 boy lying in the rain his life seeping
4:38 out of him on the soaking wet ground
4:42 Ichigo awaits his fate except suddenly
4:45 the rain stops Ichigo is rescued on the
4:48 brink of death by the mysterious kisuke
4:50 urahara the owner of the local urahara
4:52 candy store a shady man with a hidden
4:55 agenda and historical ties to the soul
4:58 Society urahara heals Ichigo and takes
5:00 him under his wing promising to help him
5:02 not only unlock his own Shinigami Powers
5:06 but make him strong enough in 10 days to
5:08 take on the soul society and rescue
5:11 Rukia from her grisly fate at the same
5:13 time orohime and Chad are taught to use
5:15 their own powers by a talking black cat
5:18 called Mr yoroichi an associate of
5:21 urahara's while uriu Masters his own
5:23 Quincy abilities through a series of
5:25 three trials Ichigo finds himself within
5:28 his inner World a spiritual place inside
5:31 every Shinigami Soul where he talks with
5:34 a strange Man in Black eventually after
5:36 nearly becoming a hollow at the hands of
5:39 urahara's brutal tests Ichigo realizes
5:42 his true Shinigami power and transforms
5:46 bearing both the zanpukto of his own and
5:48 a sinister-looking Hollow Mask but we'll
5:51 get to that a little later as Ichigo
5:53 continues to battle urahara he also
5:56 learns the name of izzan pukto and the
5:59 Ghostly Man in Black zangetsu after
6:01 continuing their training for a few more
6:04 days the gang comes together at urihara
6:05 shop where they prepare for their
6:08 Journey to the soul Society to dive deep
6:10 into the heart of the enemy and Save
6:14 from certain Doom so with Ichigo and the
6:16 others on their way to the soul Society
6:18 it seems like now is a good time to
6:20 explore the Shinigami a bit deeper there
6:23 was a lot of terminology there after all
6:26 the soul Society is where all spirits of
6:28 the Dead are ferried to an afterlife
6:31 essentially at the center of the Eastern
6:33 branch of the Soul Society sits the
6:36 sayrete the city of the Shinigami the
6:38 soul society's military arm is called
6:41 the gote 13 and as you might suspect is
6:44 made up of 13 distinct divisions each
6:47 one headed by a captain and a Vice
6:49 Captain who command a number of seated
6:51 and unseated officers each Shinigami
6:54 wields their own completely unique
6:56 zanpaktou a katana imprinted with their
6:59 soul allowing it to take on a new form
7:01 when its name is called granting them
7:04 access to amazing powers in order to
7:06 save Rukia Ichigo and his friends are
7:08 going to have to battle their way
7:11 through the gote 13 and live to tell the
7:13 tale Ichigo and the others explore load
7:15 into the soul society and land in the
7:18 rundown impoverished area outside the
7:21 sayrete's walls known as the rukongai district
7:22 district
7:24 no attempts to enter the soul Society
7:26 but is confronted by the gatekeeper
7:28 jidanbo although Ichigo successfully
7:31 defeats him by destroying his axes he
7:33 doesn't make it far the third divisions
7:36 Captain gin ichimaru approaches them and
7:39 uses his zanpakto shikai the first stage
7:41 of Azan pukto that is activated by
7:44 calling its name to remove Ichigo from
7:46 the city itself before the gate comes
7:49 crashing down in need of a new way in
7:51 yoruichi takes the team to his old
7:54 friend kukaku Shiba a fireworks expert
7:57 and the owner of the kukaku flower crane
7:59 cannon with which they can blast
8:01 themselves over the wall and into the
8:04 sayrete taking kukaku's brother ganju
8:06 with them they successfully breached the
8:08 sayrete but the force of the explosion
8:11 separates them all Ichigo and ganju end
8:13 up facing off against two members of the
8:15 fight-loving 11th Division ikaku and
8:17 yumachika and managed to defeat them
8:20 before taking a Shinigami medic hanataro
8:23 hostage hanataro leads each you go and
8:25 ganji through the canal Network beneath
8:27 the sayrete until they arrive at the
8:30 foot of the Sen's IQ the compound rookia
8:32 is being held in where they're
8:34 confronted by the Vice Captain of the
8:36 sixth Division and a Shinigami Ichigo
8:39 has fought before renji abarai after a
8:41 bloody battle Ichigo utilizes his
8:44 training from urahara to finally defeat
8:47 renji but in a surprising twist renji
8:49 begs Ichigo to save Rukia from her
8:52 impending execution as the two of them
8:54 are childhood friends and Ichigo
8:57 promises that he will the three of them
8:59 then Retreat back into the canals where
9:01 hanataro heals their wounds and Muses
9:03 over the appearance of a strange
9:05 hollow-like mask which seemingly
9:08 manifested to protect Ichigo during the
9:10 battle with renji at a meeting of the
9:12 captains the highest ranking officers of
9:15 the gote 13 gin ichimaru seemingly
9:16 threatens the captain of the fifth
9:19 division sosuke Eisen which is overheard
9:21 by the icy captain of the 10th division
9:25 toshiro sugaya later geen has apparently
9:28 made good on his threat Eisen is found
9:30 assassinated in a gruesome fashion and
9:33 his Vice Captain hinomori Momo flies
9:35 into a rage before being arrested the
9:38 soul Society is put on high alert and
9:40 war is waged against Ichigo and his
9:43 friends who are the prime suspects
9:45 behind the murder battles begin to rage
9:48 across the sayrete Chad finds himself up
9:50 against the captain of the eighth
9:53 division sui while Ichigo and the others
9:55 are confronted by the Monstrous captain
9:57 of the 11th division Ken patches Iraqi
10:00 Chad battles kyoraku but is swiftly
10:02 defeated and knocked unconscious while
10:04 Ichigo engages Zaraki in a brutal sword
10:08 fight Zaraki seems Unstoppable but after
10:10 reaffirming both his respect for
10:12 zangetsu and realizing that zangetsu
10:15 will always be by his side and he can
10:18 utilize his power Ichigo manages to cut
10:21 Zaraki down ending the battle in a
10:23 stalemate having continued onwards alone
10:26 ganju and hanataro reach rukia's cell
10:29 the black cat yoruichi rescues the dying
10:31 Ichigo and heals his wounds before
10:34 revealing her true form that of a female
10:37 Shinigami All Along yoruichi confiscates
10:39 The Hollow mask from Ichigo before both
10:41 of them sense biakya kuchki the captain
10:43 of the sixth division arriving at
10:46 rookia's cell byakia dispatches with
10:49 ganju in a brutal fashion but Ichigo
10:51 arrives to protect them Ichigo prepares
10:53 to challenge byakia but yoruichi
10:55 intervenes and knocks him out escaping
10:58 from the scene with ichigo's body alone
11:00 once again yoruichi explains to Ichigo
11:03 that he's too weak to take on biakya in
11:05 his current state but in three days
11:08 he'll learn the ultimate power of Bankai
11:11 asan pukto's second and final stage
11:13 wielded by Only the strongest of
11:16 Shinigami meanwhile uruyu and Orihime
11:18 battled the mad scientist captain of the
11:21 12th division mayori kuratsuchi mayori
11:23 reveals he has experiment fermented
11:25 thoroughly on the Quincy clan in the
11:27 past but uriu shocks Everyone by
11:29 revealing the fruits of his training the
11:32 let's still an amazing power that allows
11:35 him to almost kill the captain enraged
11:38 mayori Reveals His ban Kai but uriu
11:40 defeats him before mayori escapes
11:43 activating the let still means URI will
11:45 lose all his Quincy Powers but he
11:48 continues on regardless towards Rookie's
11:50 cell before being knocked out cold by
11:52 the captain of the ninth Division
11:55 kanamatosun and arrested using a special
11:57 device called the tension tie Ichigo
12:00 begins his Bankai training by forcing
12:02 the spirit of zangetsu to appear before
12:05 him and battle at the same time hinomori
12:07 reads a letter left to her by Eisen
12:09 before breaking out of her cell while
12:12 orehime meets kenpachi's Iraqi and asks
12:15 him to help free her friends all of whom
12:17 are currently being held prisoner deep
12:19 within the sayrete Hina Mori accuses
12:22 toshiro of murdering Eisen as per the
12:24 the letter that was left to her in
12:26 eisen's own handwriting toshiro believes
12:28 this to be more of Gene's scheming and
12:30 they fight briefly ending with geen's
12:32 Escape after a last minute intervention
12:34 by the Vice Captain of the 10th division
12:37 rangikum Matsumoto geen's childhood
12:40 friend ichigo's Bankai training
12:42 continues when suddenly renji discovers
12:44 their secret location but reveals that
12:46 he's only there to train himself
12:48 explaining that Rookie's execution has
12:50 been moved up to tomorrow
12:53 yoruichi doesn't think Ichigo can learn
12:55 Bankai in time but Ichigo is determined
12:58 to achieve it nonetheless Zaraki and
13:01 orahime break uru Chad and ganju out of
13:03 prison before continuing on through the
13:05 sayrete while renji finishes up his
13:07 training a number of the captains
13:09 including byakia prepare to head to the
13:12 sokyoku hill the planned site of rukia's
13:14 execution after going their separate
13:16 ways from Orihime and the others Zaraki
13:19 and his men are ambushed by tozen his
13:21 Vice Captain Shuhei hisagi and the
13:23 captain of seventh division sagin
13:25 kamamura as well as his Vice Captain
13:28 tetsu's I'm on Eber while ikaku and
13:31 yumachika battle IBA and hisagi Zaraki
13:33 takes on tozen and komamora himself
13:36 resulting in tosin activating his Bankai
13:38 saraki defeats him however but komamora
13:40 steps in to save towson's life meanwhile
13:43 renji heads to stop the execution but is
13:46 met by his captain byakia after an
13:48 emotional duel renji unveils the fruits
13:51 of his labor and activates his brand new
13:54 Bankai but despite it impressing byakia
13:56 the captain Reveals His Own Bankai and
13:59 nearly kills renji leaving him for dead
14:01 Rukia is taken to her execution where
14:03 the captain of the first Division and
14:06 Captain commander of the gote 13 sugar
14:09 Cooney genre Sai Yamamoto Begins the
14:11 ceremony Rukia is to be executed with
14:14 the ceremonial sword the sokyoku which
14:16 takes on the form of a Titanic Firebird
14:19 as it moves to strike her and end the
14:21 execution someone steps in and blocks
14:25 the blade at the last moment Ichigo has
14:27 arrived chaos ensues as Ichigo frees
14:29 rookia from her bindings and destroys
14:32 the execution scaffold in a display of
14:34 power and as the captains scramble to
14:36 deal with him kyoraku arrives with
14:39 juushiro ukitake the captain of the 13th
14:41 Division and together the two of them
14:43 destroy the sokyoku renji having been
14:46 healed arrives on the scene and helps
14:49 Ichigo save Rukia as our hero takes on
14:52 biakyakuchi himself the Civil War spills
14:54 over as the execution is in disarray
14:56 yoruichi arrives and battles the captain
14:58 of the second division and her former
15:01 Protege soyfon while Yamamoto duels his
15:04 two students kyoraku anokitake Ichigo
15:06 takes on biakya in the Ultimate Clash of
15:09 ideals Ichigo fighting the lore itself
15:12 while byakia represents that stall War
15:14 Authority Ichigo manages to keep up with
15:16 the captain and even wounds him after
15:18 unleashing zangetsu's special ability a

15:26 his Bankai and devastates Ichigo heavily
15:29 wounded but undeterred Ichigo stands and
15:31 activates his own barnikai to biaki as

15:41 fight byakia eventually outlasts and
15:44 overpowers Ichigo and prepares to kill

16:25 Courthouse the central 46 where they
16:27 find all of the judges have been
16:30 massacred meanwhile Gene takes hinomori
16:31 to the chambers below and she discovers
16:35 an Unbelievable Truth her Captain Eisen
16:39 is alive as Eisen stabs hinomori and
16:41 proceeds to nearly kill toshiro the
16:43 depth of his deception is revealed Eisen
16:46 faked his death using the illusory power
16:48 of His zanpak tokyoko suigetsu and has
16:50 been pulling the strings on rookia's
16:53 execution ever since Eisen proceeds to
16:55 the sokyoku hill with his followers geen
16:57 and kaname tosin abducting renji and
17:00 Rukia as they try to escape during an
17:02 attempted rescue Eisen Cleaves Ichigo
17:05 almost in two before defeating renji as
17:08 well with Rukia in his grasp Eisen
17:10 removes an artifact from her body the
17:14 hogyoku this mysterious orb will play a
17:16 large role in eisen's plans moving
17:19 forward but for now the traitors find
17:22 themselves quickly surrounded just when
17:23 it looks like the villains have been
17:26 caught massive menos Grande Hollows tear
17:28 open the sky of Soul Society rescuing
17:30 Eisen and the others in a dramatic
17:33 Escape in the aftermath of eisen's
17:35 betrayal Ichigo and the others celebrate
17:37 the successful Rescue of Rukia while
17:39 arukia decides to remain in Seoul
17:43 Society she and the gote 13 thank Ichigo
17:45 for his help new alliances are formed
17:48 and new friendships Bloom ukitake hands
17:50 Ichigo a badge to formally appoint him a
17:52 substitute Shinigami of the Soul society
17:55 and the Gang heads back to karakura town
17:57 to prepare for the greater battle ahead

19:15 Shinigami again meanwhile Shinji
19:18 confronts Ichigo and reveals he too can

19:24 Shinji offers Ichigo the chance to join
19:26 his gang warning him that the being

19:31 that fight will eventually consume him

19:43 begin killing people in their search for
19:45 Ichigo although Chad and orahime are
19:47 defeated Ichigo tries to fight but the
19:49 mysterious being inside his soul
19:51 distracts him forcing urahara and
19:54 yodoichi to repel the attackers to help
19:56 defend the human world Soul Society
19:59 sends an advanced team made up of Rukia
20:02 renji toshiro Matsumoto ikaku and
20:05 yumachika to karakura when another Squad
20:07 of Iran car arrives led by a malicious
20:10 villain called grimjo a battle breaks
20:13 out grimjo is revealed to be a member of
20:16 the Espada the top 10 strongest Iran car
20:19 under eisen's command although Ichigo
20:20 barely scrapes by against grimjo
20:23 revealed to be the sick the spider the
20:25 other aranca are all destroyed including
20:27 one at the hands of Rukia whose
20:30 Shinigami Powers have finally returned
20:32 as Ichigo struggles more and more with
20:34 the invasive thoughts of this strange
20:36 being inside him he spirals into a
20:38 depression before seeking out Shinji and
20:41 his gang known as the vizards the
20:43 Shinigami have all been subjected to
20:45 holification meaning they can access the
20:47 powers of a hollow by means of their own
20:49 Hollow Mask once they've conquered the
20:52 being inside them returning to his inner
20:54 World once more Ichigo battles this
20:56 mysterious Hollow who claims to be
20:59 zangetsu himself after a rigorous
21:01 training session with the vizards which
21:03 almost leads Ichigo to transform
21:05 entirely into a hollow and be completely
21:09 lost Ichigo emerges in control but not
21:10 before the inner Hollow threatens to
21:13 take over his body again should Ichigo
21:15 ever die at the same time uriu completes
21:17 his training with his father restoring
21:19 his Quincy Powers meanwhile the
21:21 Shinigami deduce eisen's true true
21:24 objective he wants to gain access to the
21:26 Royal Palace of the Soul society and
21:28 murder the soul King himself to do so

22:43 after defeating several Iran car
22:45 including some demoted Espada the team
22:48 moves deeper into the palace Chad is
22:50 defeated by Neutra juduga the fifth
22:53 Espada while uriu and renji team up to
22:55 take down the 8th this Bard at xyloporo
22:58 Grands after a devastating battle Rukia
23:00 succeeds in killing the ninth Espada
23:04 aroniero ararueri but suffers near fatal
23:06 wounds herself meanwhile Ichigo
23:08 challenges ulquiora to a battle but is
23:10 completely outmatched by the Iran car
23:12 who reveals himself to be the fourth
23:15 ispada okiora deals Ichigo a killing
23:18 blow but is saved by orohime who in turn
23:20 was rescued from her cell by grimjo
23:23 grimjo has Orihime heal Ichigo to full
23:25 health so they can fight properly but
23:27 even after grimjo releases his zanpakuto
23:30 Ichigo defeats him once and for all but
23:32 in orahime's eyes Ichigo has begun his
23:35 descent down a dark path as he uses his

27:49 killing barragon while love and Rose are
27:51 beaten by Stark but give kuraku the
27:53 opening he needs to finish off the
27:55 Espada Eisen steps in and takes Harry
27:58 belt out himself challenging the rest of
28:00 the gote 13 and the visas to battle
28:02 seeing his master on the front line
28:04 Towson challenges kamamura and his Sagi
28:07 revealing his own Hollow Powers although
28:09 tosin overpowers komamora even going so
28:11 far as to have a release form of his own
28:14 hisagi blindsides and kills his former
28:16 Captain back in Waco Mundo mayori
28:19 creates a Gateway for Ichigo to karakura
28:20 town and he travels there with unohana
28:23 arriving right behind Eisen as the
28:25 fighting gets underway the soldiers of
28:28 the goatee 13 and the Visas unite to
28:30 defend Ichigo from Eisen but thanks to
28:32 eisen's illusory tricks he defeats all
28:35 of them even forcing toshiro to stab
28:38 hinomori himself toshiro's rage allows
28:40 Eisen to get the better of the captains
28:41 before coming face to face with the
28:44 Yamamoto Yamamoto unleashes his zanpak
28:46 toe but the strange old ankar Wonder
28:48 Weiss is revealed to have been created
28:50 to counter yamamoto's ancient blade
28:53 despite this Yamamoto destroys him but
28:55 the resulting blast takes the captain
28:58 Commander down Ichigo challenges Eisen
28:59 himself with Eisen revealing that he has
29:02 controlled every single action Ichigo
29:05 has made so far right down to sending
29:07 Rukia to karakura town that fateful
29:09 night Eisen also reveals he has embedded

30:28 returns at last having successfully
30:30 learned the final getsuga tent show

30:34 and the two battle on the outskirts

30:39 into an Eldritch Abomination but Ichigo

30:54 battle and the war is fine finally over
30:57 with Eisen sentenced to 20 000 years in
30:58 prison Ichigo and the others celebrate
31:01 their Victory however Ichigo begins to
31:04 rapidly lose his powers and eventually
31:06 after saying goodbye to Rukia loses the
31:08 ability to see spirits entirely

36:56 ukitake and the sole Society ginjou
36:58 vanished killing shindigami and stealing

37:03 who he hoped might be able to share his

37:56 he confronts the captains and requests
37:58 to be allowed to give ginjou an
38:00 honorable burial shocking the Shinigami
38:03 but as he stares them down they realize
38:05 that Defiance of his has always been
38:08 there and as an individual Ichigo has
38:10 grown up now as Shinigami once again
38:12 Ichigo Kurosaki returns to being the
38:14 protector of karakura town there is
38:18 Peace at Last however something stirs in
38:20 the darkness an ancient enemy of the
38:22 Soul Society thought to have been
38:25 destroyed some 200 years ago has
