0:03 hi luxury home show my name's Rebecca
0:05 Louise I'm a influencer and a single
0:21 home so welcome inside this is my
0:24 entrance hall I absolutely loved this
0:25 when I first viewed the house and it was
0:27 a huge selling point for me the house
0:30 was built in the 1950s and it actually
0:32 started as just the center part of the
0:35 building and they added on the left wing
0:37 and the right wing so it's I think it's
0:40 doubled in size if not more since it was
0:42 built so we have 58 windows and doors in
0:45 total which is huge and a real pain
0:47 actually when you're locking up at night
0:49 time but the light that floods in is
0:51 incredible so it just feels like a
0:54 really happy house because of that so I
0:56 absolutely loved the film far of the
0:57 bride and I loved it as I was growing
1:00 older and um I loved the form mat that
1:02 they had in the house where as you enter
1:04 you've got double doors on the Right
1:05 double doors on the left I just love the
1:07 flow of that so as soon as I entered
1:10 this house it reminded me of the Father
1:11 of the Bride House which I love so
1:15 you'll notice that every door frame that
1:16 enters into one of the main living
1:18 spaces actually has double doors which
1:20 is incredible and it all adds to the
1:22 light as well which is amazing when we
1:24 moved in it was completely bare there
1:27 was absolutely nothing no flooring no
1:29 wall decor no light fixtures anything it
1:32 was was complete shell and I knew that I
1:34 wanted to do something spectacular with
1:37 this space this uh chandelier is 3 and
1:41 1/2 M drop and 1 M diameter and I
1:44 designed it it was originally a wide
1:46 chandelier but I asked the manufacturers
1:49 if they could make me a long drop and
1:51 swap it around and they did that and it
1:54 has come out better than what I probably
1:56 could have imagined we've also had a
1:58 double the spoke chandelier made in a
2:01 much much tinier version for the gallery
2:04 Landing both chandeliers are from light
2:05 style which is a lovely company it's
2:07 quite local and lastly in here the
2:09 paneling so that this was not here when
2:12 we first moved in but I am obsessed with
2:14 paneling and the intricacy that it
2:17 brings to a house and the detail so I
2:18 used a company called South Creek
2:21 projects who are fantastic and they have
2:22 put paneling in throughout because once
2:25 they' done one space of course we needed
2:28 to do all of the spaces it was a huge
2:30 job but so worth it this is the cloak
2:34 room also a huge selling point for me it
2:35 was empty when we moved in actually it
2:37 was just a shell of a room but I had
2:40 these um fitted units put in reason
2:42 being I've got three children who are
2:46 incredibly messy so um I like have
2:48 things hidden you'll probably notice as
2:50 we go around I'm a little bit OCD when
2:52 it comes to um what's on
2:56 show the boys have their own this is my
3:00 7year old's cupboard and my 9 year old's
3:01 cupboard so they have their own
3:03 cupboards and all of their shoes
3:05 organized and I give them a little treat
3:07 a little Suite if they get home from
3:09 school and they manag to pop them in
3:11 there and not Chuck them on the floor as
3:13 soon as they get home sometimes they do
3:14 sometimes they
3:17 don't so next to the cloak room I've got
3:19 the study which I'll show you later and
3:21 then the formal living room but let me
3:24 take you through to the kitchen this is
3:27 my most asked about room on my Instagram
3:31 account it's 12 m long by 6 and 1/2 M
3:34 wide so it's a pretty big size and the
3:36 kitchen makers are Davenport so they
3:39 Supply this beautiful kitchen and it was
3:42 actually fitted before I move in so when
3:44 I was in the process of buying the house
3:46 but it was gray so as you can see
3:48 they've completely repainted the whole
3:50 thing for me if you go on to my
3:51 Instagram page you can see what it
3:53 looked like before so the island is
3:56 actually 3 m wide by 2 m deep and it's
3:59 got some beautiful Cabinetry on this
4:01 side seating for four on that side so
4:03 that's myself and the three boys
4:05 obviously had to go for leather
4:07 upholstery because the boys are really
4:10 messy basically um so everything has to
4:12 be wipable in this house paneling
4:15 continued into this room which made a
4:17 huge huge difference and it just
4:19 softened everything really and it really
4:21 pulls out the fact that this is a period
4:24 home and it does have beautiful features
4:25 as you'll see as we walk through the
4:27 house there's a lovely little surprise
4:29 Behind These doors that display just how
4:31 open OCD I am so when I first moved into
4:35 the house this was just shelving no
4:38 lighting no mtled mirror but Davenport
4:40 came and fitted these detailing for me
4:42 and it's completely transformed the
4:44 cupboard I was toying with the idea of
4:47 it being a bar but actually it's just
4:48 not practical I have three children who
4:51 eat a lot but it works so well and it's
4:53 probably the most used cupboard in the
4:55 entire house the boys now are old enough
4:57 to make their own cereal so they grab a
4:59 jar and then do that for themselves so
5:03 now into the seating area of the kitchen
5:04 this is also quite a big space
5:06 originally it was actually designed by
5:08 the architect he intended it for a
5:11 dining space here and then the back end
5:14 for a seating area but I know that I'm
5:17 more inclined to have people around for
5:20 more of a casual environment and we had
5:21 the dining room already so we didn't
5:24 need it so I marked off the space of
5:28 this bespoke made carpet and then filled
5:30 it with the furniture so the pre sofas
5:32 were very very formal they were in a
5:35 three heart format but I added this
5:38 chandelier just to give a focal point to
5:41 the space and then worked around these
5:43 Corner sofas children snuggling on each
5:46 of the corners the TV's always on
5:48 especially in the evenings it's lovely
5:50 we can just relax in here but in a
5:54 pretty aesthetic as opposed to The Snug
5:56 that we also have in the back end of the
5:59 kitchen the ceilings actually increase
6:01 by two feet it allows for an extra layer
6:03 of Windows on top of the bolds at the
6:05 back and that just allows lots more
6:12 [Music]
6:14 in hey I hope you've been enjoying the
6:16 tour so far but I'm going to let you in
6:19 on a little secret we've actually been
6:20 recording the behind the scenes to this
6:23 video all day long we're going to record
6:25 all the behind the scenes for future
6:27 tours and release full episodes now this
6:29 is something that you can only get
6:31 exclus exclusive access to if you sign
6:34 up to be a member so if you want to
6:35 access this and even more exclusive
6:37 content hit the join button that's right
6:39 next to subscribe and you can be a
6:41 member of the luxury home show now back
6:44 to Rebecca so next is the dining room
6:49 got a huge 1.8 m diameter wooden bespoke
6:51 made table in here I drew it and then
6:53 asked local Carpenter to make it up and
6:55 they did they did a great job actually
6:57 it's a really really beautiful table
7:00 wipable chairs obviously are must with
7:02 the children uh they're from my
7:04 furniture and they're absolutely
7:06 gorgeous so they were changed recently
7:09 when the kitchen scheme color changed
7:12 from Gray to Ivory I didn't really fully
7:15 think about the scale of the change that
7:17 was going to happen just by changing the
7:19 kitchen but obviously this is a room off
7:21 of the kitchen so the gray that used to
7:24 be here suddenly didn't work anymore so
7:27 we changed them all out for Ivory this
7:29 is a real talking point as well for
7:31 people this is the lighting company now
7:34 it's part of the crystalia range but I
7:36 believe they don't sell that anymore but
7:38 they have a very similar option this is
7:41 a meter diameter so it's absolutely huge
7:43 I'll show you a little Hidden Gem now of
7:45 the house which a lot of the moms get
7:48 excited about not so much the
7:51 dads this is the utility room huge
7:54 selling point for me one of the um
7:56 things on my tip list was to have a
7:58 massive utility room another very
8:01 popular feature on my Instagram page is
8:03 the fact that I have two washers and two
8:06 dryers in this room and I have to say it
8:09 is very very useful also in this room we
8:13 have a double sink and loads of surface
8:16 space originally this was designed by
8:18 family I think they had two or three
8:19 dogs so it was originally going to be a
8:22 room that also had some dog grooming um
8:25 facilities in it pull out tap when they
8:28 were going to wash their dogs I don't
8:31 have dogs so I have used it more as a
8:34 bootroom utility next to the utility I
8:38 have got a downstairs WC very basic
8:39 boring so there's no point in showing
8:41 you that at the moment and then we come
8:44 into the playroom so this is a room that
8:46 the children will run to first after
8:49 school with the TV with all of the toys
8:52 out looking very different to this the
8:54 storage was really important in here
8:55 obviously because you don't want toys
8:58 lying around you can see this room from
9:01 the formal dining dining room so it
9:04 wasn't a room that could be messy all of
9:06 the time and toys left out so these
9:08 storage units have proven to be
9:11 extremely important we're not going to
9:15 open those because not pretty so out
9:16 from the playroom we go through the
9:19 entrance hall and enter into one of my
9:22 favorite rooms which is the foral living
9:24 room but we actually call it the white
9:25 room so the living room is one of the
9:28 most feminine rooms I've got in in the
9:31 house um the color scheme is very light
9:34 the shades of Pinks in here it just is
9:37 very warm and welcoming and very pretty
9:39 the window Bay is one of my favorite
9:41 things in the entire house I'm a
9:43 complete sucker for window Bays I would
9:45 have them in every room if I could this
9:49 is an original window Bay from the 1950s
9:51 they've obviously put in new sash
9:54 windows um and the paneling was an
9:57 addition when I moved in but it's a real
10:00 magical space and I just adore WR here
10:01 this is actually one of the few rooms in
10:04 the house it's the original part of the
10:08 building so the original House ended at
10:11 that fireplace and then at the outside
10:13 side of the dining room again I repeated
10:16 symmetry in here two sofas instead of
10:19 one and then behind me the Symmetry just
10:21 works so well and it's really
10:24 aesthetically pleasing I think these
10:26 cabinets on either side of the fireplace
10:29 are actually a real find so when I was a
10:30 bit younger I guess a little bit
10:32 strapped for cash I used to shop in boot
10:34 sales and I would try and find wooden
10:37 furniture that I could upcycle and these
10:41 were I think they were £25 each and I
10:42 chucked them in the back of the car
10:43 brought them home sanded them down and
10:45 painted the B silver and I'm really
10:47 reluctant to get rid of them because
10:49 they're so beautiful you're probably
10:51 noticing a lot of my frames don't have
10:54 artwork in it's not laziness it's
10:56 because I have several different lists
11:00 of things to do and the children and
11:02 general surviving life bumped to the top
11:05 of the list things like this get shut
11:09 down so I'm working on it this is the
11:11 home office and it was supposed to be a
11:14 cinema room but I'm a little bit adverse
11:17 to home Cinemas unless you have a space
11:19 that isn't in the main part of the house
11:21 I just don't like the idea of having a
11:24 pitch black room off of an entrance hall
11:27 so I changed the usage of this room into
11:29 an office and it really suits me and my
11:31 children actually because they have
11:34 constant homework I have constant admin
11:35 and it doesn't feel like we're crammed
11:38 into a tiny little room the little one
11:40 can watch TV while I'm doing homework
11:42 with the bigger boys and we can just all
11:45 sit in here and not feel too crammed in
11:48 so through here is the garage and then
11:50 through the garage it takes you into the
11:52 gym but we'll go and see the gym for
11:54 another side so that's everything
11:56 downstairs now I'll take you upstairs
12:05 this is the gallery landing area which I
12:07 absolutely adore you've got the full
12:10 view onto the beautiful chandelier down
12:13 into the entrance hall and then all of
12:15 the bedrooms flow off of this space
12:18 which is really nice these sofas are
12:20 from my furniture which I love and
12:22 they're really formal but comfortable at
12:24 the same time they're beautiful color as
12:26 well and like a linen fabric so they
12:29 work really well with the modern country
12:30 aesthetic that I have in the home the
12:34 paneling as well I love the way that it
12:36 just is quite striking behind the
12:39 chandelier and then we've got four huge
12:41 Windows looking out onto the front which
12:44 are really pretty and this spot is the
12:46 best spot in the house for Sunset and
12:49 the sky is just orange orange pink at
12:51 night and it's so pretty to sit up here
12:53 and watch that okay let me take to the
12:55 first room up here which is the master
12:59 bedroom my bedroom this room is a very
13:02 well used bedroom not just for me but
13:04 also for my three children so that being
13:07 said um I currently have a super king
13:10 but I'm in the middle of purchasing a
13:12 emperess siiz bed I'm really looking
13:13 forward to having an emperor bed I've
13:15 never had one before so that should be
13:18 really really exciting that delivery day
13:19 and then off of the main part of the
13:22 bedroom we've got the on Suite which has
13:25 double sinks and it's a very large room
13:29 um has a beautiful roll top bath what
13:30 it's not a roll top it's a modern Twist
13:33 on a roll top bath but everyone always
13:35 asks me about this bath I think it's
13:36 just a bit more of a unique way to do a
13:39 rolltop when I purchased this house
13:42 there weren't any fitted wardrobes
13:44 included or they hadn't been put in at
13:47 that point so this was just an empty
13:50 room so I designed this space with a
13:53 wardrobe makers and of course it had to
13:55 be symmetrical from the view from the
13:58 bedroom into the walkin wardrobe each of
14:02 the units are the same size but I put
14:03 different colors in each of the units
14:06 which always looks so much more striking
14:08 than had they been mixed up so I've got
14:11 all of the clothing in their own section
14:14 but I've also got a dedicated section
14:16 for shoes and bags I obviously can't fit
14:18 all of them here some of them are in
14:20 different units but my most special
14:23 pieces I suppose are on display I like
14:25 to keep them all color coordinated as
14:28 you can see it's just easier to work out
14:29 outfits that way
14:34 and this was my first designer bag in my
14:36 entire collection so that's a pretty
14:38 special piece for me so when I design
14:41 any wardrobe I think I think now I've
14:43 done about 10 when they're open like
14:45 this I always think it's so important to
14:47 have lots and lots of lighting so as
14:49 much as you can fit into a walk-in
14:51 wardrobe because it just makes the
14:54 colors pop it lights up the items and it
14:57 just looks so stunning and striking
14:58 particularly if the doors are open to
15:00 that room so let me show you some more
15:03 bedrooms now we're coming out into the
15:06 landing look at this view how pretty is
15:09 that this is probably my favorite view
15:11 of the chandelier from up high you get
15:14 the real impact of the light up here now
15:17 into my two older boys bedroom when you
15:19 come into this room the first thing
15:21 you're going to notice is the window
15:23 it's just incredible so this room was
15:26 actually intended for the master suite
15:29 but it got switched up at when I was
15:31 viewing the house and I suggested that
15:34 the room with the balcony would be
15:36 better for the master suite and that's
15:37 actually what they ended up doing they
15:39 swapped swapped it around so I recently
15:41 had these beds made for the boys they
15:44 were in their own bedrooms but it turns
15:46 out that they don't want to stay in
15:47 their own bedroom so they end up in my
15:50 bedroom so I had a little idea that if I
15:52 put them in together I've got more
15:55 chance of them staying in bed all night
15:57 so I had these gorgeous beds made by
16:00 bedor and holstered in this beautiful
16:03 textured Fabric and they love it and it
16:04 has worked and they do stay in their
16:07 bedroom now which is amazing so all of
16:09 the wooden furniture the bedside tables
16:12 and the toy chests were made by my
16:15 father from scratch so many people ask
16:18 me where I got these boxes from but
16:20 obviously they're from my dad so I can't
16:23 give you a link to them so the boys also
16:25 have their own walk-in wardrobe which is
16:28 a really really nice addition to this
16:31 sweet they normally wear the same thing
16:33 so you'll see two of each item in most
16:36 cases they are still too short to
16:39 actually reach the top bar so I'm
16:41 currently looking into the addition of a
16:44 pole and a ladder it's almost like a
16:47 library um ladder and they're going to
16:48 be able to reach their clothes a lot
16:50 more easily once that's been installed
16:53 so the boys also have their own on Suite
16:55 which is lovely and bright and Airy
16:58 they've got a bathtub and they've got a
17:01 double drench shower which is amazing
17:02 and just everything else that you'd need
17:04 in a UNS Suite so another cute little
17:05 feature of this house is that we've got
17:08 a laundry shoot the amount of wash in
17:09 that I would normally have to bring
17:12 downstairs is huge so this is a really
17:13 handy little thing just Chuck it down
17:15 and it goes down into a basket so I can
17:17 take it straight into the laundry room
17:20 this is quite controversial because this
17:22 is actually my 2-year-old's bedroom
17:25 which you're probably wondering why is
17:26 there a king-sized bed in a two's
17:30 bedroom there is um reason behind it he
17:32 has started climbing out of the cot that
17:33 used to be in here so it's was just too
17:35 dangerous to have him wandering around
17:38 the landing so what I've now done is put
17:41 in a um king-size bed and I fall asleep
17:44 in here with him when he goes to bed and
17:46 then I go into my room and he seems to
17:48 want to stay in here all night so it
17:51 just works really really well so he has
17:53 his own fitted wardrobes for whatever
17:56 clothing he has and then also um an
17:58 onsuite which of course he never used
18:00 uses because he's 2 years old and he's
18:02 still in nappies but he will at some
18:04 point start to use them um it's just a
18:06 lovely little La Suite nice lighting
18:09 behind the mirror and a drench shower
18:12 again okay so on the other side of the
18:15 house down this long Corridor are two
18:18 more guest bedrooms it was really tricky
18:20 actually to think of what to do down
18:22 here because it's such a long Corridor I
18:24 couldn't put any tables or anything in
18:27 because it would make it too narrow so I
18:29 had the idea of putting multiple mirrors
18:31 in and then A Light Above each mirror
18:33 just to give light and reflection and
18:36 then the paneling was actually popped on
18:38 after the mirrors have been hung this is
18:40 the first guest bedroom that I'll show
18:42 you and it's literally just been set up
18:45 actually as a guest bedroom days ago and
18:48 we've got super king bed in here made by
18:51 bedor absolutely incredible company they
18:54 Supply to retailers on the High Street
18:57 quite big retailers but they've decided
19:00 to now retail the themselves and this
19:02 was a bed that they made for me a winged
19:04 bed and the detail in the structure is
19:07 just incredible it's beautiful beautiful
19:09 High bed as well beautiful rug from the
19:14 London rug company and a unit from hom
19:15 which I have to say it's one of the
19:16 heaviest things I've ever had to lift
19:19 upstairs ever so this is a gorgeous
19:22 piece of artwork from Mala art and they
19:24 sent it to me it really finishes off
19:27 this space then off of the guest bedroom
19:30 you have been open Walkin wardrobe so
19:33 again Lighting in here was BIG my older
19:36 son was obsessed with
19:39 Avatar and after buying the whole
19:41 collection spending a lot of money on it
19:43 he now decides that he doesn't like
19:45 Avatar anymore and we're on to a next
19:47 theme so that's why it's in the guest
19:48 bedroom not his
19:51 bedroom and this is the on Suite to the
19:54 guest bedroom lots of people comment on
19:56 these tiles they absolutely love these
20:00 tiles I'm probably going to paint the
20:04 walls very unlike me um a midnight blue
20:06 to correspond with the tiles I just feel
20:07 like it needs something else in this
20:10 room and then the next room is guest
20:12 bedroom number
20:15 two this is a slightly darker palette in
20:18 here but I really love the mood that it
20:21 creates and we have fitted wardrobes as
20:23 you come in so I suppose it's a dressing
20:25 area but an enclosed one and then
20:27 another Super King bed for all of my
20:30 guests when they St wallpaper in here is
20:32 this gorgeous gorgeous textured
20:34 wallpaper from art housee it looks like
20:37 a really delicate snake skin lots of
20:39 people ask me about this they don't
20:41 actually sell it anymore CU I have
20:43 researched it to see if I can find it
20:46 but unfortunately it can no longer be
20:48 found and there's also an on Suite in
20:50 this bedroom which is a really generous
20:54 size with bath and shower [Music]
21:09 so as mentioned before there is a gym in
21:10 the property and it's a gorgeous
21:13 gorgeous position so the gym itself
21:16 hasn't been decorated yet so it's a work
21:18 in progress but it's got your basics in
21:21 it but the nicest feature is that all of
21:24 the bfold doors fully open out onto the
21:27 patio areas onto the garden which is a
21:28 lovely lovely thing to have when you're
21:31 working out the garden furniture and now
21:33 these are particularly beautiful they're
21:35 from Royal craft and I've never seen
21:38 anything quite like it they're acacia
21:42 wood with a rope woven detail and the
21:44 colors are perfect they're just so
21:46 unusual the sunloungers I've never seen
21:48 anything of this style before so they
21:50 fit so so well with the house and the
21:53 color scheme and the modern country
21:55 aesthetic that I always work towards and
21:58 the plantings really added a nice diens
22:00 mention to the Garden this has only
22:03 recently been put in and obviously isn't
22:06 established yet but it runs the whole
22:10 length of all of the patios and once
22:12 it's grown you're going to have
22:14 lavenders and green and it's just going
22:17 to look so pretty in the summer so
22:18 everything in the garden Works off of a
22:20 central point on either side of the
22:22 window Bay there's Symmetry and that
22:24 center point of the window Bay if you
22:27 run up the garden becomes the center
22:29 point of the pool the center point of
22:31 the whole rest of the garden which is
22:33 lovely so this Terrace area is
22:34 absolutely gorgeous to sit on in the
22:37 morning cuz it's in full beam Sun last
22:41 year we actually had four ginormous
22:43 conifers at the back part of the garden
22:46 so all of this was in shade but they've
22:47 all been taken out and the swimming pool
22:49 has been put in its place we haven't yet
22:51 used the swimming pool because it was
22:53 only put in in October last year so we
22:54 haven't actually had a summer season
22:56 with the swimming pool yet so that's
22:58 something really nice to look forward to
23:00 and this table and chair is a really
23:03 unique set concrete slab table with
23:05 acacia wood and then more of the woven
23:08 rope detail cannot wait to use that this
23:12 summer so the reason I had the four huge
23:14 conifers removed was because the sun
23:16 rises at the back of the garden and it
23:20 sets behind the house so the first part
23:22 of the garden actually becomes fully in
23:23 shade at
23:26 4:00 and then the only part left in Sun
23:28 is the whole back of the garden so I
23:30 knew the swimming pool had to be at the
23:33 back and this Lounge area and we've got
23:35 patio heaters that are going to allow us
23:38 to extend that time a little bit longer
23:40 and all of the corner sofas all of my
23:42 furniture currently in this Garden is
23:44 actually from Royal craft it's part of
23:48 the Roma range so it all matches so the
23:50 garden itself is 0.5 acres and wraps all
23:52 the way around the side of the house for
23:54 a separate Garden which I use for the
23:57 children we're currently Midway through
23:59 the Landscaping so you guys will have to
24:02 come back and see um the finished result
24:05 so there's a pagola going in um a patio
24:07 area the whole right hand side of the
24:10 house is going to be patio Rose Bank
24:13 Landscaping did the initial design for
24:17 the garden and did a great job actually
24:20 they're fantastic at what they do um and
24:22 consilium Haus then came and filled out
24:24 based on the rose Bank Landscaping
24:26 designs filled out all of the flower
24:29 beds with their soft land caping which
24:31 they're currently in the middle of so
24:33 it's going to look so established and
24:36 Bloom very soon so yeah you'll have to
24:38 come back and see the progress in a few
24:40 months time it's going to look very
24:42 different to this thanks so much for
24:43 watching I hope you enjoyed the tour of
