Today I'm here to exeute my project
smart steering for health and accident
prevention. This we have implemented
various type of safety method in this
steering based on the various kinds of
problems happening in today's bus
journeys. First of all drivers are
getting hard or getting standing and
roaming here and there while the bus
engine is on. Further there's a sensor
in front of the steering which gives an
alarm if the driver is not in front of
If the driver is not in front of it, it
will give an alarm. If the driver is in
front of it and alert, it won't give an
alarm. But if the driver moves away, it
gives an alarm.
Second, the drivers are getting hard
touch. For that we have placed a BPM
sensor and pulse rate sensor on the
steerings where the driver place his
thumbs and based on that we can read his
BP and pulse rate. If there is any
abnormality in his BPM or pulse rate

abnormal pulse rate more than 120. It's
ding an alarm. And if you have a good
pulse rate, it's not going to give an alarm.
And second, there's an alcohol sensor.
One of the major concerns of today is
that drivers are drinking alcohol while
driving the buses. Further, there's an
alcohol sensor over here in the cabin
where the driver sits. If this sensor
smells alcohol immediately there will be
an alarm and we would even give measures
so that the engine won't get start if
there's alcohol presence in the room and
friends as you can know in various cases

vehicle, this will immediately give an alarm.
And when the driver closes his eyes, it
will not do an alarm. This has a timing
so that even if the driver doesn't give
an alarm. The driver goes to sleep for a
