Now, in today's video, we're going to
run through my early transfer targets
ahead of FPL gameweek 30. We're also
going to talk about the key data for the
next few gameweeks that you need to be
looking to target and of course discuss
the FA Cup and the potential blanks and
doubles it could cause over the next few
game weeks.
Now, of course, before we dive into
today's video, if you do enjoy any of
the content that you see on the channel,
please be sure to like, comment, and
subscribe. as we are trying to hit
30,000 subscribers before the end of the
season and it is only possible with your
amazing support. As you can see on
screen right now is the data from 11 to
5. If you want to go and check out their
amazing website, I will leave a link in
the description for it. And as you can
see, this is the projections for the
next five game weeks. Now, gameweek 34
and gameweek 33, we're going to talk
about in more detail in a second. So,
some of these projections might change.
And obviously if you've been watching
some of the content over the past few
weeks, you know, I've excluded some of
this data because obviously a lot of it
is still probably going to be changing.
However, some people have asked me to
talk about it. So I thought I would
include it in today's video. As you can
see, I've only marked off the Arsenal
and the Wolves game as well in terms of
no fixture for them in gameweek 31. Of
course, if Newcastle United beat
Manchester City in the next round of the
FA Cup, so on Friday or Saturday night,
I believe they play, then of course that
fixture potentially could go back into
gameweek 31. So I wanted to see how that
would look as well in terms of the
projection. So obviously looking at this
this gameweek in gameweek 30, Liverpool
looking like a top side for projected
goals. Obviously going to be off the
back of that, you know, shock defeat to
Wolverampton Wonders. They'll be looking
to bounce back. It is a great fixture
and of course their assets are still
very good players to have for gameweek
30 and of course gameweek 31 and
potentially longer term as well. If of
course Liverpool do progress in the FA
Cup then of course they could be looking
at a double in gameweek 33 and a blank
subsequently in gameweek 34. But as you
can see that gameweek 34 game is quite a
nice fixture that would go into the
double in 33 with a 2.02 projected goals
for that one. As we can see, Manchester
City also pretty decent for this
gameweek. So, you know, Harland, Semeno,
all those guys worth keeping for one
more week. Gameweek 31, of course, if
that is to is to go in there. Pretty
nice fixture. Definitely makes Harland
look a very, very appealing captaincy
option. Or, of course, Semeno for that
gameweek as well. If it is to move into
gameweek, obviously 33, that would also
be a very, very nice fixture for
Manchester City to have and potentially
give them a really nice double game week
there. We can see Arsenal as well. Um,
some pretty nice fixtures coming up for
them once obviously we get past this
blank. But again, still worth holding on
to any Arsenal assets that you've got.
Obviously Dean Rice hitting Defcon
today. Timber with the assist, Gabrielle
with the clean sheet, Defcon bonus. You
know, these players are still great. Uh,
we're seeing obviously Chelsea come back
into the fold as well in terms of their
projected goal numbers. Obviously, there
was a little bit of a drop off after
that Arsenal game, but then they've just
gone and smashed Aston Villa. They've
got a great game in gameweek 30 and a
pretty decent fixture up against Everton
in gameweek 31 as well. Obviously,
they've got some fixtures post that as
well that are pretty nice. So, you know,
Jou Pedro, Enzo Fernandez, if you've
still got them, definitely worth
keeping. And I think Jedro Jedro as well
was one of the players that I was
originally looking at buying for Erlin
Harland if he was going to be out this
gameweek. And I was saying to people on
the deadline stream, I was like, I'm not
sure if I would sell J Pedro for Ecit. I
was a little bit against the move, but
people still went ahead with it. I was
like, I think J Pedro could maybe do
something in the Villa game. They
haven't been great in recent weeks. The
fixtures after that as well are quite
kind. So, yeah, it's kind of one of
those, isn't it? Uh, but obviously if
you did switch to Thiago, I mean, 1.92
for for Brenford this week and an all
right fixture in gameweek 31 as well.
Also, some pretty steady numbers across
the board there. Obviously, if you
bought into any Bournemouth players as
well, whether that be Tavanir, Evan
Nielson, all those guys, Bran, they
still look like pretty nice options as
well, given some of the the strong
projected data that they do have over
the next few weeks as well. Um, Morgan
Rogers, I mean, yeah, he's probably
going to be on the bench for me in
gameweek 30. Will be in the side for
gameweek 31, but after that, my oh my, I
really want to get rid of that guy. He
is an absolute fraud of a player. But I
think just for the gameweek 30 fixture
31 fixture sorry alone and the projected
goal numbers there I probably am going
to keep him for at least another
gameweek. But it does pain me to of
course make that decision heading into
that week. I think if you've got Harry
Wilson as well and it looks like he's
going to be fine for obviously gameweek
30 and gameweek 31. Obviously that's the
big fixture. He could be a really really
nice differential captain. Of course, if
um if obviously City's fixture goes, as
you can see there, Newcastle, then they
would have the highest expected goal
numbers, then you'd be looking at Fulham
up against Burnley, who are a side of
very susceptible to right wingers. So, I
think obviously any news we get around
Harry Wilson, he still probably would be
a player I would be looking to hold over
the next few weeks as long as that news
is, of course, positive and it doesn't
look like a long-term injury. Heading
then into the uh the defensive side of
things. Obviously, we're still seeing
Arsenal pretty pretty convincingly at
the top here. Again, I wouldn't be
looking to sell any of my Arsenal
defender assets heading into this
gameweek. Obviously, get rid of them in
gameweek 31 or bench them thereafter. Uh
same with Mark Ghee, like if the fixture
stays in there, 35% chance, still pretty
decent. If you bought Virgil Van Djk,
obviously this week, there is another
great fixture and a pretty okay one as
well in gameweek 31 where he might
potentially be able to get some
attacking returns out of that.
Obviously, Keller in terms of the
goalkeeper for the next two weeks as
well could still be a pretty nice
option. A 40% chance then a 23% chance
if you bought Yokam Anderson. Obviously
was on the bench today, didn't come off.
So maybe he hasn't fully recovered from
his illness if he's back within the
fold. A 28% chance and a 44% chance. So
again, I wouldn't obviously be looking
to sell him instantly unless obviously
we get some negative comments from the
manager regarding his fitness. But other
than that, I definitely think he would
be a player that realistically I think
you could very easily keep for this game
week as well. Um, yeah, looking at some
other sides as well, interestingly down
here, obviously Sunderland always quite
low in terms of these projections, but
as you can see, 23 and a 15%
probability. Like I I really would
expect them to probably beat Newcastle
again in the derby, get a clean sheet.
We see Alderente come away with some
defcon mega halls as well. You really
easily could see it happen. Uh,
Bournemouth players for the next two as
well are still going to be great options
as well. If you're on a wild card for
gameweek 32, they still look like pretty
nice options as well with a 35% chance
and a 22% chance. So, Sessi Hill, very,
very good pickups as well. Still, uh,
before we dive into any player picks,
then what I want to talk about is going
to be blank gameweek 34. Now, this
graphic is from from Ben Krellin. Of
course, if you're in the FPL community
and have been here a long time, you know
who Ben is. He's pretty much the
specialist when it comes to dealing with
the potential postponements and of
course potential doubles, blanks, all
that. He is the guy to go for for this
stuff. So, of course, if you want to go
and check him him out, I will leave a
link to his Twitter and I'll also leave
a link to Fantasy Football Hub where you
can come and pretty much get into the uh
the calendar, the FDR, look at
everything that he's got going off with
this and and obviously where I got this
graphic from as well. So, I'll leave all
that in the description as to today's
video. But this is a week where you need
to be holding transfers, right? Do not
be making early transfers. I know J
Pedro's just gone and put a hat trick
in. I know Semeno's gone and scored
again. If you haven't got those guys, it
is hurting right now. It really is,
right? And of course the Thiago EchitK
blanks. Like there's so much you want to
do with your team. But be a little bit
patience. That's that's kind of what I'm
going to exercise this week. Patience is
going to be the thing that you really
need to be kind of, you know, going with
this week because the FA Cup can change
so much in terms of our decisions. It
could completely wipe out the free the
free hit kind of wild card strategy. It
could completely kill that in gameweek
32. If of course the sides that do
progress it this week in the FA Cup are
sides then that we look at the double
and go, well, I've probably already got
quite a few of those. For example, if
Arsenal are going to be there, a lot of
us still have maybe double or
potentially triple Arsenal. Liverpool as
well. Like I've got Ekit, I've got Van
Djk, I know people that have got three
Liverpool as well. Fulham, like if they
get there as well, we could also be
looking at, you know, people have got
Harry Wilson, they've got obviously
Anderson, Manchester United, like
obviously if their fixture is still a
blanket, maybe a double. There's there's
so much that potentially could still
happen here that it's not worth gambling
on an early transfer in my opinion.
That's why I rolled this week. I was
looking at my team and I was going,
look, it doesn't look the most optimal.
It doesn't look the best, but what it
does allow me to do is see what happens
in the this FA Cup round. See then what
potential doubles and blanks we could of
course get. And like I said, that um
game between obviously Manchester City
and Newcastle is massive. that is
genuinely massive as well because that
could then put the fixture back into
gameweek 31. So what I'm going to say to
you guys is honestly just hold just
genuinely hold your transfers. Let all
the FA Cup games play out. You might get
some potential injuries in there anyway.
You also as well got to factor in that
is going to have a big impact on what
the schedule is looking like. So my
number one tip for this game week is let
the FA Cup fix fixtures play out before
making any moves with your side. That is
the big key for me to be honest. Just
hold your transfers, see what
information we get. That is going to be
more important than maybe being priced
out of a move in my personal opinion
because it could completely change
everybody's mind on strategy, where
we're wild carding, where we're free
hitting, what players, and what teams we
need to be targeting. So, for me
personally, if you're going to be priced
out of moves, I genuinely think it's not
the worst thing in the world because
like I said, the strategy could
completely change after this FA Cup's uh
results. So, hold the transfers,
exercise some patience, and just come
back. Just have a like literally put
your phone down, go watch some FA Cup
football this weekend, enjoy it, and
then we'll see what happens the other
side of that and really make our
decisions before, of course, pulling the
trigger on any potential moves this game
week. That is my rant over on patience.
Like I said, guys, that would be my
number one tip for this game week. Let's
go and dive into some players and of
course take a look at who my model is
projecting to do exceptionally well for
the upcoming game weeks. Okay, so the
first player we're going to have to talk
about in today's video is a man who is
decimating my rank every single week.
And of course, if you didn't see a few
weeks ago, I port for every red arrow
that I get for the remainder of the
season. I'm going to be donating 20
pounds to a food bank. And J Pedro is
happily just ticking that money straight
down to the food bank for me. So, cheers
mate. Really do appreciate that one. Um,
like I said, ladies and gentlemen, we
saw the Chelsea fixtures. We saw that of
course they've got, you know, some nice
projected goals over the next few weeks.
I think Newcastle is a great fixture at
home. I also think that Everton game as
well potentially we could be looking at
maybe a differential captain like it
could be something that we really could
be looking at. The big concern I have
around Ja Pedro, right, is Champions
League. I honestly have no qualms about
him as a player. I think he's absolutely
fantastic. I think he could be an
absolute game breaker as well. And if
you've stuck with him over the past few
weeks, fair play because there would
have been a lot of pressure on you, of
course, to make the move to Thiago, make
the move to Echk. Everybody was pretty
much, you know, recommending that. That
was the go-to strategy. Get rid of, you
know, Xiao Pedro. He's done. He's had
his good fixtures. Now it's time for
Thiago. Now it's time for Echique. Fair
play. If you've held your nerve, you've
stuck with Jiao Pedro. Honestly, fair
play to you. But this is why I would be
a little bit concerned if I was going to
bring him in. The Newcastle game is
either side of a Champions League game.
What we've seen from Xiao Pedro is there
is some early substitutions in there
between the 70 and 80th minute over the
past few weeks. Those have been the
minutes where he has been coming off.
That is always a little bit of a red
flag for me. I like my players to play
full 90s. do believe that more goals are
scored kind of within those last 10
minutes. More chaos can happen as well.
Everything everything goes there. So, it
always is a little bit of a red flag
when I do see that. Then I see heavy
fixture congestion coming up for Chelsea
over the next few weeks. They've got
obviously the FA Cup, then they've
obviously got the Champions League game,
then they've got Newcastle, a big game
as well in terms of their top four, you
know, credibilities as well. They need
to be winning as many points as possible
to secure Champions League football as
well. So, another big game. Then they've
got the second leg of that Champions
League game. Then they've got Everton.
You look at it and it is so so packed in
terms of their fixtures over the next
few weeks. Some real real busy games
that Xiao Pedro is of course going to be
having. Then we've got an international
break as well coming up in between
gameweek 31 and gameweek 32. Now what we
usually see during this period is the
Brazilian players or in particular the
South American players are very very
laid back usually like that is usually
the way they go. However, I know they've
definitely got one game in Europe. I
haven't seen where the other game is but
we will have to wait and see on that
one. Again, that might be something that
potentially could come into the fold
here in terms of your decision- making
for J Pedro. I honestly think he is a
fantastic player and if you've stuck
with him, fair play. I I probably would
would end up buying him. I genuinely
think for gameweek 31 there is that
temptation in me to go and sell Harland,
go and buy Xiao Pedro and fully put him
in because I think he would be an
absolutely fantastic option to go for.
There is no doubting his ability. He's a
wonderful footballer, absolutely
exceptional, and he's proven that with
the goals and assists that he's scoring
at the moment for Chelsea as well.
They're in that top four race, so he is
going to play a lot of Premier League
minutes. My concern is still that little
bit of rotation in the back of my mind,
but this is someone who has fought this
for large parts of the season, hasn't
owned Jiao Pedro, and has really felt
the full effect of it. So, I could
honestly be chatting complete waffle
here, and you might completely disagree
with me. And that is fair. You 100% can.
And if you do disagree with me, get it
in the comments because I'm always open
to, you know, obviously people having
different views. That is that is the
beautiful thing about this game. But
that is the concern I have heading into
Jaedra. Not his ability, not the fact
that I think he will score quite well
for FPL points over the next few weeks.
I do think there maybe could be some
early substitutions, maybe even like
potentially a benching in that Everton
game if the workload has been so heavy
after back-to-back Champions League
games. Of course, a midweek Premier
League round as well. There will be some
games where he is maybe rested. I think
the FA Cup is probably a prime example
to get that rest in this weekend. But
again, if he plays the FA Cup game, then
the Champions League game, I do start to
think maybe one of the Newcastle or
Everton games could see some rotation.
So that would be the only concern I
would have heading into Jao Pedro. But
other than that, for the next few weeks,
he could be a fantastic player to of
course go and select for your sides.
Would at the moment, would I take Thiago
out or would I take Eatique out for Jao
Pedro? Probably not. Probably not. I
think the next two fixtures on paper
look better for both Thiago and
Echitique in my personal opinion. I I
that that is my personal opinion, but I
personally wouldn't move either Ekit or
Jao Pedro out. I think there's more case
to probably move Harland out in gameweek
31 if the fixture goes rather than
looking at a Thiago or potentially an
Echitique. For me personally, I I just
think for the next two, those two
probably do outscore Ja Pedro, but I
could be wrong. I've pretty much been
wrong on Jao Pedro all season. If you
disagree with me, get it in the
comments. Let's have a good debate about
Jalo Pedro. Uh the other option that has
been again decimating my rank, sending
my money straight down to the food bank,
it is going to be Anton Semeno. Yeah. Um
if City get that fixture back in
gameweek 31. I'm going to go and buy
this guy. Like I've got the money in the
bank. This is why I rolled the transfer.
He's just absolutely phenomenal, isn't
he? Uh I I think a lot of us were
obviously worried when he moved to
Manchester City that he was kind of
going to get the Pep Guardiola, you
know, routine of rotating in and out of
the side, you know, lots of rotation. We
were all worried about that. But if that
fixture goes back into gameweek 31, my
oh my, what an option he could be.
Genuinely could be absolutely a
sensational pickup. And if you've
already got him, he looks like a
fantastic option again for West Ham.
Like they are leaking goals all over the
shop from multiple different positions.
I know they kept a clean sheet today,
but obviously Fulham didn't have their
star man in terms of Harry Wilson. They
were also missing Yam Anderson, one of
their key defenders. So, it wasn't a
full strength Fulham. I think City will
need to be winning as many games as
possible over the next few weeks. And
like I said, if that gameweek 31 fixture
does go back in there, my oh my, what a
fantastic asset he really could be for
that one. Of course, City, if they get
the double in gameweek 33 as well and a
potential double in gameweek 36, he's
going to be an absolute lock on
everybody's wild card for gameweek 32
because yeah, he's just been destroying
it. Absolute killing it. So, fair play
if you've had him. I think as well us as
content creators all told you that, you
know, because he didn't have a fixture
in gameweek 31, he wasn't going to be
like the go-to guy. he wasn't going to
be a player you'd want to pick because
of that one blank gameweek. I think
maybe that kind of conversation needs to
be a little bit revisited. I said, look,
if you've got a strategy to navigate
gameweek 31 where it doesn't use too
many transfers, then he would be a fine
player to bring in. It could all come
right falling down as well if City get
that fixture back into gameweek 31. He
probably should have been one of those
that I did just pick up a few game weeks
ago. Really smashed it out of the park.
Again, fair play for people that have
got him. He's over 56% and he's
absolutely decimated my rank every
single week. He's a phenomenal talent
and he's just kicked on at Manchester
City. The only concern I do have around
Smeno is he's really bad for bonus
because he shoots a lot because he
tackles a lot. He does obviously then
get quite a few fouls. He also gets
quite a few missed shots which does
decimate him in terms of the BPS or the
baseline BPS that he usually scores from
games. So that is the only concern I do
have around Semeno. But when he's
putting in attacking returns every
single week, it really doesn't matter,
does it? And for 8.2 million, he is just
an absolute steal. And like I said, if
they get that fixture back into gameweek
31, I think there is going to be a lot
more FPL managers clambering towards
Smenoya because West Ham's a great
fixture. And of course, if the Palace
fixture goes back into gameweek 31,
another great fixture for a very, very
inform player. Let's talk about then
Wolves as the uh as the final kind of
team I think people maybe want to be
targeting over the next few weeks. Um,
and obviously we've seen some, you know,
discourse on Twitter and on YouTube
around Wolves maybe being like a super
team now that they're they're back.
These are the guys to avoid. They're no
longer the whipping boys. I'm kind of
going to put a bit of a different spin
on it. I think Wolves are probably kind
of locked out a little bit either side
of the season. So the first half of the
season they were the whipping. Like
everyone knew those were the teams to
target. However, a lot of those games
they were still winning on XG. Like if
you go to XG stat and look at the table,
they're like 17th. They're not rock
bottom. They're 17th. But as you can see
over the past five game weeks, they have
been a whipping boy and very bigly a
whipping boy. As you can see as well
from the XG philosophy tweet here as
well, they've accumulated 1.92 xG and
scored six goals off it. Their opponents
have accumulated 5.42 and only managed
to score three goals from it. So, I
think it is a case of maybe Wolves' luck
has just come in, probably at the wrong
time for them. They could have done with
it a little bit earlier in the season,
but it does look like the look has
started to come in for them a little bit
because still defensively they are
giving away a lot of big opportunities.
And I don't think this means that Wolves
are no longer a team we want to be
looking to target. I think obviously
they're no longer the number one team.
The number one team is Burnley. They are
god-awwful. They are dreadful. They are
the side that everybody can get some
points from. But I don't think it means
that this is the end of targeting Wolves
because obviously they've put in, you
know, some good performances over the
past few weeks. I definitely think, like
I said, they have improved as as a side.
They have look more resolute when you do
watch them. They are more pleasing on
the eye. They don't look like a whipping
boy who's completely devoured of
confidence. However, what I am
suggesting here is their data is still
very, very bad. And I do believe that
there probably will be some sides that
still will manage to get some big halls
against Wolves over the next few weeks.
So I think if you see Wolves, it's still
a pretty nice fixture to definitely be
attacking, but it isn't probably at the
same level it was a few months ago where
they were the complete whipping boys of
the league. But looking at the data
here, still suggesting that they are a
side definitely worth targeting over the
next few weeks as well. Let's move on
then of course to my model and the uh
the final segment of today's video. Of
course, if you want to come and access
my model, it is available in the FPL
Cartel um Discord community. If you want
to go and check that out for yourself, I
will leave a link to our sublaunch page.
You can come and sign up. It's
completely free for 7 days. We've got a
really good community in there. We've
got my model, we've got Last Man
Standing, we've got prize competitions
as well for our mini league, monthly
prizes, and a big yearly prize as well.
So, come and get yourself in there. Come
and check it out. It's completely free
for 7 days. And then after that point,
of course, you can do whatever you want.
You can stay which most people do or of
course you can leave. But looking at my
model then for gameweek 30 he has got
Harland. I mean that is no real surprise
given the fixture West Ham Salah as
well. I obviously spoke about why a lot
of models are you know favoring Muhammad
Salah at the moment and it is because of
his historic points per game penalties
good fixtures. That is why the model of
course likes him. Bruno Fernandez picked
up an assist today. Probably going to be
you know another potential option that
people are mulling over in terms of
captaincy. Semeno who we've spoke about
here 6.9 projected points as well
looking again like a very very good
option for this game week and like I
said if that fixture does go back into
gameweek 31 he will just be an
absolutely cracking asset to go for
we're also seeing our Arsenal players on
here as well Gabrielle Rice I think
Timber's not too far down on this list
either as well when I did pull it up
also very very good options for this
gameweek as well just to hold through
either bench them in gameweek 31 or of
course transfer them out in gameweek 31
as well. A pretty nice fixture for
Crystal Palace up against Leadeds as
well. So Munos if you've still got him
could be the final week that of course
you do play him unless like I said that
fixture does go back into gameweek 31
and Palmer and interestingly Jao Pedro
are on the same points for this gameweek
predicted points at 5.5. Now I
personally said I wouldn't look to take
Thiago or Echatique out. However, if you
are looking into my model for this
projection and for of course next
gameweek, it actually does have J Pedro
ahead of both Ecat and Thiago for the
next two fixtures. So maybe something to
worth consider. Personally, I wouldn't
go for it. But if you are really fed up
of either of those guys, Jiao Pedro
obviously cooking at the moment, the
model is really fancying him to go off
big over the next few weeks, then yeah,
he could be a great option to go for.
That is going to conclude today's video
then, ladies and gentlemen. Thank you
very much for watching. As always, your
support is really appreciated on the
channel. So, if you do enjoy the
